DOT AND BUBBLE REVIEW! | Doctor Who Season 1 

That was a good episode with one of the best endings to DW I've ever seen. The racism was insidious and I think I'll watch this again alert to it - I recall she said The Doctor "looked stupid", asked "what are you doing in here" and said she was "right to hate" him. Like alot of discrimination, once you have seen it you wonder how you managed to not see it in the first place. And it was an entertaining episode as well.

Murray Gold's work for this was sterling, but I'd have loved to see what Akinola would've done with this episode. Lindy is the sort of character who'd be perfect for an Akinola motif. It could initially sound upbeat and light-hearted, because she initially seems like a bubbly, likeable character, then it could progressively become more sinister and menacing throughout the episode as her true nature and beliefs are revealed.

in Unleashed they referred to the slugs as man-traps

I thought it was a good episode. About your take on the final scene revealing that Lindy was despicable, I think that was already established when she essentially killed the man she adored in order to save herself.

I like the theme of realizing in the end who the monster (monsters) in the story really was. I like stories that have that kind of Twilight Zone ending that upends what you think you know.

given how this episode was 10 yrs in the making this would have been a good Christmas special

I loved this episode. It’s one of my new favorite episodes of DW

Good story wow poor doctor sad bit I think lindy was blind duh she bashed her head on the lamppost why did the doctor see SU garden

There is likely a proper word for this, but I can’t find it right now so I’m gonna use an example of this feels like the Zygon Inversion. I don’t really remember that story but we remember that speech the 12th doctor gave that moment is iconic and I think it’s the same here where the content of the story is okay but we’re really going to remember for it ending for the 15th Doctors reaction and emotion. That’s not to say it’s a bad episode. It’s just I think it will be remembered in time.

I'm not getting the adulation for this episode by some viewers , online proclaimations of best ever episode. It was OK , that's it.
