That Kenworth is cleaner than the Board Of Health Brother "' Chad ''. Looking Good even when it's dirty. Two Thumbs Up Mane. Keep on DOING IT TO IT . BONECRUSHER Class of 1982. Stay Safe my friend.
yeah both were really great motors back in the day. One truck I have never driven in my 33 years of driving is a Mack. My dad had a gold edition Mack cabover when I was a young kid. Gold edition meant everything on it was 100 percent Mack. I think it had a 400 v8 Mack motor. It was quite a power horse for a 1974. I drove a Marmon for about 2 years. They had cabs kind of like a w900 kw. I lost that truck when a drunk lady in a Ford taurus hit me head on. Hard to believe she lived. I was going probably about 60mph and I think she had to be going even faster.
glad to hear the hard knocks! K town. home of the malfunction junction...woohoo! it's Macho Man day! bite in2 a slim jim...overalls! yup! what going to be the name of the green Ken?? love the maintenance stuff! looks really good! I admire the simplicity of U'r rig! looks like it's time 2 drop in and pop some shingles!
I was down with head gasket issues during Blitz i guess. Head gaskets.heads.rocker boxes. I was good times. Got motor out wifes truck as well. Motor swap. Doing head gaskets and all other gaskets while have it on thr ground
Harbor freight sells this green color degreaser in gallon jugs that seems to work fairly well. It’s only $10 a gallon and I use a cheap pump sprayer to soak everything and give it 5 minutes then spray and the majority of it will just rinse right off. Heavy stuff will need a pressure washer
Chad Keegan , That's Trucking Man, I remember 30yrs ago , Anytime I went to Florida always had a load coming out there at the coffee warehouse in Jacksonville, I'm sure the rates not the same now.
What's a Dot blitz week? Assuming DOT is checking more than usual? State specific? If so, how do you know they are having a blitz week, word gets out or do they announce it like a DUI check point. Cool property you have too.
It’s a week long event that happens yearly at the scale houses etc throughout the country and it’s not a secret.. It’s announced and everyone knows it’s happening but some don’t pay attention.
Those old trucks will do the same work as a $150,000 one. Hope you can net some $ and save for a good retirement and own a nice piece of realestate. Little afraid Gentry might be becoming a kid in a candy store though. I hope he is watching his expenses. Tim's seems like a real good person though.
@@1ChadKeegan No there will never be any easy but you are smart not to take on a lot of debt right now. Might have a hard time getting 6 mpg with a old 855 cummins but I do not know the type of weight you are pulling.
@@1ChadKeegan that is real good. I had two 1989 FLDS one with a 3406B and one with a 855 and 6 was about all they could do pulling 80,000 pounds. It was a little easier with the cat.
Great video Chad glad to see you getting some maintenance done on the Blue truck. Keeping it in order for those inspections. Thanks for sharing stay safe Chad.
