Sorry, my bad with not wording my post correctly. You are right what you say. But what I'm trying to get at is, that not every production that uses autotune is for the use of improving one's harmonic range/ holding notes. Even though the autotune does improve Dot's voice, i doubt that this is the primordial reason for doing so. Autotune has become popular with artists, most notably T-Pain, simply for the strange effect it produces when used to an exaggerated extent.
He produces his own material. He uses autotune to make his music more interesting. All music is mastered via effects (autotune, reverb, delay etc.), EQ'ing (messing with the frequencies [bass, mids, treble]. All this is done to make the music sound better. Why do you have a problem using autotune? He's intelligent and know's what he is doing. And i suggest people educate themselves when they throw around the term 'satanic'. If anything, organised religion is more of a threat than 'satanism'.
