Nothing can be done drill and grime are watered down ever since drill started hitting chart levels just fucked it only way to get real street music is look for artists that ain't known yet
Bit of an essay but this is why the whole scene is Dot's. Dot Rotten started all this beef himself, but he is blackballed in the industry so basically everybody cannot talk about him. Also one for one he will destroy anybody involved here so, works in their favour. Dot released "Original Real Talk" back in November which explained a lot of what many of us know about the scene, to everybody clearly; if you don't run in certain circles or groups, you aren't going to be anybody. A few days later he dissed a guy called Jay1 because he didn't pay him for the instrumental he produced (Dot is probably the most prolific producer in the industry, weird how nobody hears of him huh) over a few dubs. Jay1 knows Dot is blackballed and could have easily got away without paying because, that is how it works. I guess this pissed Dot off. After that he dropped war dubs against JME, Skepta, the whole of Boy Better Know. Blackballed so they ignored him. Now Dot and WIley have a history of beefing which is cool, Wiley jumped in as nobody in BBK would respond, the WIley and Dot Beef started. Dot dropped his dubs early, because WIley is a bit of a dum dum and left Dot voicemails on christmas day saying he was going to diss him. Wiley mentioned Stormzy in a diss somehow, Stormzy decided to jump in and make an industry manufactured diss against Wiley, which obviously went high on trending etc because he has the right links you know. Wiley vs stormzy commences, everybody ignores Dot once again. Dot released this diss against Stormzy, Wiley retweeted it and removed his Dot disses from his channels. Whether Wiley decided he took the loss or wanted to silence Dot again is 50/50 I reckon. In 2008 Dot has a Westwood session with JME and Skepta (he used to roll with them until shit soured and they basically silence him) where Dot is saying a hook which BBK basically stole off him and made "Too Many Men" the next year. This song basically launched BBK into the scene and was their first mainstream-ish hit. FYI in Dot and Wiley's earlier beef "It's Over" was the first song to start the whole thing about WIley's mum back in 2011. This entire thing is Dot's, over and over again. That is precisely why you never heard of him. Blackballed.
@@jay278822 you know master writer just shows you words that rhythm with what you’ve typed in? Like it doesn’t type for you… you still need to type. People need to understand
Dot Rotten killed this....But why are UK rappers dissing/fighting each other? They've got more talent than American ones, they should really be working together.
The disses back in the day were hard and mostly entertainment. Now we got little kids doing drill music thinking they the biggest gangster to come out there area it’s a joke hate the uk music scene rn bring back these days
