Nostalgia RoC It isn't that he's bad, because he isn't. He just conflicts too much with ppd in the drafting phase, it's part of the reason why he left. The new team lets ppd do his thing, and to his credit he asks for their input and feelings (at least according to him in his draft analysis videos). Sumail was the absolute perfect pick up for EG. He fits their playstyle so well.
this memories i repeat it so many times...every year i hope EG can turn back this memories..to being a champion on ti..but every year all hope is gone.this year ti8 only achieve top 3.its enough..but not good enough..hope ti9 EG can turn back this memories..

Back in 2011 Fear mother didn't quite believed in him to win the TI and now after hard work ..Fear finally won the TI5,for me EG deserved the TI5 more than anyone...and i Think Summail got an important role in that Winning... GG EG!
Of all the pro players in DoTa right now to win Ti5 I think Fear deserved it the most. Playing hard for 10 years and working even harder for 5 years since ti1
I am watching this in 2018 to relive the nostalgia. Right now, EG is doing very bad. I really hope that they can get their stuff together and own again.
looking back at this ti, EG looked like they were not satisfied with the way they won. it seems as though they were looking forward and expecting to face a specific team at the Grand finals....
universe is always been the mvp. he makes all the plays while the others just keep on doing normal stuff. clock rocket snipe on queen. escape with hook to sumail from 5 man gank. 6million dollar echo slam etc oh and lets not forget his godly chronos from last year
In my humble opinion, I think EG deserved the win for their hard work and great team synergy. At the same time, EG's win should also reflect how CDEC was the perfect formidable team to go up against with, a team that surprised everyone with their own dedication at par with that of EG's. Congrats to both! _DotA_
As a Chinese and I wished CDEC could win, but watching EG from their early days... first proving that USA dota isn't a joke, then proving that they're the best in the world - I could respect that no matter which team I'm with.
What do u think about last year? Last year EG got 3rd place even without Fear, if Fear playing on ti4, would eg actually won? Or 2nd atleast.... newbee 15 mins gg too stronk at ti4.... Kappa
I feel like Dota has gone through a loop with EG replacing Navi. EG have a talented, flashy mid player, a versatile experienced offlaner, and arguably the best captain in the world. They also won against a Chinese team who after they got into the finals nobody thought they could beat. They also had a significant fight in/near the Roshan pit where a hero gets a team fight ultimate on several members of the enemy team eventually that led to the end of the game.
Man, looking back -- Only 3/5 player really deserved that win. AUI is decent, PPD is pretty below average. Fear, Universe, and Sumail were, are still are top tier players. Crazy how flukes occur, even for the better.
I know this is how it always is, but it's the final game, for the grand prize and I know they would've lost in the next minute, but also could've not lost in the next minute. I guess my point is, why not keep playing until the ancient falls? Anything could happen.
The gg function exists for a reason They thought they lost and realistically they did. So instead of wasting all our times they call gg and congratulate the winners.
