I miss this game having everything Xenoverse should have, like changing hair, clothes and moves that fully fit the CAC model, and environment that stays destroyed, but having everything else we absolutely didn't ask for.
Yeah I agree except for the environment staying destroyed that will probably be really hard to program. Ultimate has it work because they have suck a small arena. It would be hard to program with the xenoverse open fighting arena engine.
For me, it was the different character fighting styles, and Aura changes, it's a small detail, but I loved having Gogeta's fighting pose and combo string animations, while having SSJ4 aura on my base form CAC T-T
@@Tatsululu yea that too. That's what got me hyped about XV, I thought training under certain people gave you an altered fighting style/pose, etc. And I wish there was a way to change aura without mods
Don’t disrespect this gem of my childhood I knew it wasn’t great but the graphics were great to me at the time and creating your own saiyan blew my little mind.
I think everyone can acknowledge that everything else in the game is amazing. Graphics, effects, music, the planet destruction scenes are all great. You can tell love went into the game but the combat just flops bro 🥺
YOOOOO what's going on VOD nation? I love you guys fr! I hope yall had a relaxing weekend and try not to stress too hard this upcoming week. Enjoy the nice weather and go outside if you can. Eat well, drink water and sleep plenty!
This was my favorite DBZ game, mainly because it was also my first DBZ game. My best friend growing up had the game, he introduced me to DBZ & anime as a whole. We used to play UT, RB2 & some sort of old Xbox DB game. We didn’t care that the gameplay was pretty much rock paper scissors, we’d still compete to win and had fun. Once I finally got my own Xbox 360, I begged my parents to buy me the game. Even if the 3D models are a bit dated, the animations & soundtrack were still cool. I played the shit out of the story mode & cac mode, I had so much pride after beating the hard battles. I even remember having to get my dad to help; cause during the battles against giant enemies you’d have to destroy your fingers mashing buttons. Young me didn’t have the finger strength, so I had to pause & get dad to do the button mashing.
Glad to see Doto play this game, it brings back alot of childhood memories. Even if the gameplay loop is dogwater, but I genuinely go back and watch a compilation of the ultimate moves in this game: from time to time.
I just realized something about the wish that is the premise of Hero Mode. It was to make it Hell on earth - in other words, whenever an evil person dies and gets sent to Hell they just return to earth, but the good guys go to Heaven. Talk about a losing fight.
If you think Ultimate Tenkaichi is the worst DBZ game, you never saw Ultimate Battle 22 on the shelf at Blockbuster as a kid and rented it expecting something cool. That game solidified an entire generation of hating the sub for better or worse.
I absolutely love ultimate tenkaichi I know it’s bad but I played the shit out this game as a kid. I really hate that it sucks. I remember using the exploit where you could sit above the cpu with yamcha style and just shoot heavy ki blasts to avoid rock paper scissors.
Similar story lmao, I was so hyped. I played a lot of RB and RB2, also Tenkaichi Tag Team. But one thing I love about every DBZ game are its ultimate moves. I would always watch them and I really loved the planet exploding scenes. I never played much of Budokai 3 but it does the planet destruction scenes the best. So, when I saw this trailer and it featuring that aspect, I was incredibly hyped. I got my friend on the hype train. He actually preordered and the day he got it, I went to his house. Let’s just say he gave me the game and kids with no jobs, a free game is a game, especially a LAUNCH PS3 game. I really tried to like it, I forced myself and ALMOST finished the story but I could never beat stupid Omega Shenron. I swear he cheats in the stupid mini game. 10/10…. for the music. Divide the numbers, that’s my score for this game lol
The difference between this game and Xenoverse was this game every hair you get had a unique SSJ form, Bardock of course Goku, Long hair style you had the trunks SSJ form, like it was very dBZ like
1:37:44 i always wondered what would happen if your HP was already low enough to die from a hit during this part of the story, but this game was too trash for me to intentionally go back to test it out. ☠
Actually the Ape actually looks good for what it looks like for PS3, Xenoverse is eh, but they do a good job making it look cartoon like this is pretty okay, Xenoverse should have took that and enhanced it and just made it legendary
Can you give the Dinosaurs plated armor that can be destroyed from damage? Dinosaurs with Armor and swords is cool... There has to be a Storyline explaining how Dinosaurs have swords...
I’ll be honest, this game isn’t that bad. In fact it’s actually one of the dumbest fun games dbz has. The worst game in reality goes to Battle of Z. Like come on, that shit isn’t fun at all
@@ExodiaTheD1HATER that doesn’t save it at all. With ultimate Tenkaichi we atleast can have all the mentors fighting styles unlike Xenoverse 2 which we got basic combos for that race type
@@therandomsaiyajinwhat I really loved was how in base you could have vegito's fighting style, frieza's aura and three moves then when you transform, you can have a different fighting style, a different aura and three different moves. Shit is more in depth than Xenoverse is.
this game isn’t even all that bad 😭😭 its not close to the best but the hate it gets is overblown graphics easily better than most and the idea was fantastic just not executed to everyones liking
it had the best character creation ssj looks different dependent on your hair style your character is broken in this do all the training first to get all the moves that includes ultimate's and you get stat boosts from finishing each you will be broken its still a fun game
Ultimate Tenkaichi seems like a game that’s good fir if you just wanna pass the time and not think really hard. You could spending a lot of time grinding to make the main story easier and have a bit of a power fantasy going on.
Kinda depends. I'd argue that UT was more technically functional, it has minimal glitches and bugs, but is probably the worst thing a game can be: boring. Sagas, on the other hand, is badly optimized, is bugged up the ass, and that gameplay is the worst kind of beat 'em up, but I think you could make an argument for it being better because Sagas is potentially memorably bad and has that "so bad it's good" charm. Basically, it's a toss up between "perfectly functional but boring" and "broken beyond repair and weirdly captivating."
Heh i still say SAGAS is the worst. You take turns on the one on one fights, the enemy bosses block continuously, move set is not amusing, and the characters run like muscle beefcakes. Enjoyed watching Doto playing this though.
