For mine I got a female extension for the energy input of the bike, extended it outside the case, put a male extension on the internal battery and then got a basket mount thing that connects to the seat bar. Same range, less risk to the batteries.

I put a switch (on/off/on) and the middle is off to both batteries and on side goes to the extra battery and the other side goes to the inside battery...I did a range test on a 4Amp hour - 40 Volt lawnmower battery and when I started losing speed I simply switched to the internal battery...Charging for the internal battery was just like you normally charge and the lawnmower battery came with its own charger...The 40Volt 4Ah battery gave me 6+ miles and I weigh 250, so I was satisfied by the results...Its all documented in my channel...

So I have a Y splitter but it does not have balancer will it still work?

What can you do if your jetson battery chargers light is green when charging the jetson and the bike is never charging. Been three days and the bike is still dead. Does not charge. Charger never red to let me know that it is charging.

Will plugging in one charger charge both batteries or do you have to have them hooked up to their own charger?
