I rode with Graham Jarvis about 10 years ago in Hawaii, he gave instruction and did it well. His instruction wasn’t even close to what you are offering. You are to teaching as Graham Jarvis is to riding. Your ability to communicate technique and balance and feel is peerless. Thank you for doing what you do. You are singularly responsible for many people learning how to ride properly (like we do in trials)😂
Could not agree more! The effort, passion and clarity Rich provides has affected my entire riding group. Even those who do not watch his vids have benefited from those of us who do. This person is a true asset to the sport we love.
Thank you, Rich. I did 5 MOH last weekend. with all your instruction it was so easy for me cause it was my first time on 2023 Kawasaki KLX300R I can't give u enough thank you!!!!!!!!!! you are the best.🤙🤙🤙
Rich, what a great series. As a 63 year old intermediate who's attempted 5 MOH once and bailed at the first out, this series has inspired me to work on these techniques, work on my fitness and give it another go either this fall or next spring. Thanks.
This series was amazing, I think it’s the best I’ve seen. Very insightful approach to break down the real obstacles this way & show what you are looking out for, the lines you choose and the techniques needed for each. Thanks!
Some people are naturals. Unconsciously competent, they don't know why they are good, they can just do it, and make terrible teachers. Others are consciously competent; they are good and know why they are. They make good teachers and that is Rich Larson. 10th degree black belt Hard Enduro teacher..
What is your clutch setup? When full engaged looks like have 1/2 the travel left before reach the bar. I normally set mine about 1/4 so dont have reach for the lever.
Thank you for what you do!!! It’s amazing how good you are at teaching hard enduro. I’ve improved a lot thanks to you. Just wanted to say I’m grateful.
Hello Ii have watched a lot of you videos and you have a great way of teaching technique and you are a excellent rider!!! This question may not have to do with this video but I would like to get your feelings on the Beta 390RRS I just purchased one and am starting to get used to it. I got to the factory lowering kit for the front and rear shocks because I’m sure the guy is like 5’,6” I went with a 3 inch lowering kit, front and rear I’m running Sachs shocks front and rear and am like 240 i’ve been riding my whole life and now that I’m back into riding again seriously I’d like to know your opinion I plan on losing weight, but they catches of course at the sharks to my setting in the SAG and all that I do feel my front shocks bottom out when coming up from the compression like the top out a little bit. Is that OK or is that something that I can adjust? Do you feel so I won’t feel that so much. I do have the four stroke. Another question it was I’m trying to learn a lot of your Enduro tactics, I mostly have motocross experience want to know when the clutch is set correctly, is there anyway to explain that sweet spot like when going to do a blip over rocks or just riding and popping the front up to do what you wanted to do. My other question is about the jetting of the bike is there any certain number jet that you feel works better for a snappy low end let me know your feelings and continue to put out those great videos. I appreciate it.
Another well explained and demonstrated video. Just bought a new 2022 300rr on your general enthusiasm for the machine. Wont hold you accountable for my lack of skill though🙂
Thanks so much for all your detailed lessons. I love how you explain something, demonstrate it on the bike and then discuss it in detail, then go over why you would do that. Your tip to run long and get the rear tyre where you want it really helped on my last ride. Cheers
Rich, cant emphasize enough, this was an exceptional series of instruction! Your instruction is always very helpful. Having the 'on the spot' training with this trail gave a very clear and more helpful example of how to implement a given method/techniqu and i am sure will prove very beneficial to my riding! Thank you!
I really like the real life experience instructional videos. Of course, it is the fundamentals we should be practicing over and over applied, it just makes it more fun to watch/do. Thanks. Oh, when is IRC coming out with the 140mm rear gummy??
