kkstar 12 ... don't take PPIs if you can avoid it. They will make the reflux worse over time, and the damage will be worse. If on a reduced sodium sort .... come off of it and get checked for LOW acid levels.... not high.
I can't swallow pills either. They tried to coach me on how to do so, but I told them from the jump that I have never been able to swallow pills. They ended up skipping that part of the test on me.
