What type of recycled container you’ve tried growing salad greens?🌱😊

I'm saving some of the larger Gatorade bottles to use. I will use those in addition to mason jars.

This is awesome, Im gonna try this! I was thinking about using water bottles and aluminum foil instead of throwing them away as well.

Water bottles will work too or salsa jars. If you have a bigger container like 1.5L that will save you from refilling it. You can use socks instead of foil too. All the best and keep growing!🌱😊

@@deborahpennington6860 maybe try to make a playlist on RU-vid and turn it to private so only you can see it, then name the playlist gardening, then when you see a video you want to refer back to you can press the save button that looks like a bookmark and tap on your gardening playlist. Then it’ll be saved there to find easily. This is what I do, just an idea 🙂

Could you use clay pebbles to do this as well?

it's amazing how the soil stays wet at all time but never cause root rot like traditional growing!

Right! So cool. I believe it’s because the roots can still breath this way. Traditional gardening overwatering smothers the roots, they can’t get oxygen drowns them causing them to die and rot. But this way the roots still have access to air because not all of the roots are in water.
