Ok to address all of the comments saying "the movies are canon" and "they're connected." You can watch the entire main show and not need any of the movies for the main story. Nothing that happens inside the movies ever comes up in the main show, except for some random one-off character references. If you want to call that 'Canon' then go for it. But it really isn't. SOURCE: I have finished the manga, and I'm not an idiot. You can enjoy cashgrab movies without considering them canon. They're still fun to watch.

In season 6 Izuku is given the “mid gauntlets” by all might, which are weaker versions of the full gauntlet. The very beginning of the film with the all might scenes has star & stripe as the girl in the car all might saves.
