I continue my "How to Twirl a Baton" channel with the "Novice Baton Twirling" series by teaching my version of a double flat, also known as a double horizontal or a horizontal wind up. This move is one of the most common horizontal moves in baton, so it is very important to learn it and to learn it right! This trick will also build up to more difficult, flashy horizontal flips and tricks that you will learn later on through my channel. I go over this move step by step making sure to go over proper body work and technique.
*Note-This move is very similar to a figure 8, but in a horizontal pattern.
