Hi we are looking for types of windows to install in our new building are there any disadvantage for picking this double hung window? Example long term the window will auto slide down due to looseness of the lock and too heavy to push up etc

I have double hung non tilt windows. Both top & bottom sashes are movable. Many of them will not go up or down all the way. Preventing the lock & keeper to be aligned. Is it the balancer? TY
