Double Life #6: Chasing Wind 

Etho's relationship with Cleo and Bdubs fascinate me. Like, he's terrified of Cleo and holds her to such high regards and Cleo's just like "this man is not as scary as everyone thinks he is." And he and Bdubs just bantering with inside jokes and teasing each other. It's just so lovely, I love these dang hermits

Etho and Joel should really collaborate more often they compliment each other perfectly

Almost poetic how they died the way they lived, burning everything in their path down together

man Etho's series ended basically because of the weird mechanics of nether portal linking

"Why are there wolves here?" "Because Pearl's here." "Why is Pearl here?" Way funnier than it should have been.

I love how dedicated Etho has gotten to having a bunch of loaded crossbows on his hotbar all the time. I remember back in the old days when he used to be the King of Bow And Arrow, sniping people from 100 blocks away, always hitting. Now? CROSSBOW SPAM!

It’s the little things in this series like in jokes about ladders, all the honey I’m home jokes, everyone automatically considering Pearl a red, everyone laughing together about horses, etho setting off shriekers just bc he doesn’t like shifting. I love the ultimate sense of camaraderie and friendship everyone has no matter what side they were on. Etho bringing up Cleo despite her being an enemy and their unlikely friendship, Joel being so bloodthirsty but also the first to say gg and good job when he’s killed, the courtesy of leaving some gear behind for the recently deceased and rarely a grudge held when they’ve declared war over much smaller things. There was an excellent balance of the stakes feeling very real at moments and then times when everyone had to laugh at their situations. What a great series, and how wonderful to see new duos and interactions. I hope etho had as much fun playing as we all did watching! Boat boys forever

The sad thing is that if Etho didn't follow Joel, he might have been able to heal the damage that Joel was taking from the lava. Hindsight obviously.

That’s an impressive size castle that Bdubs made. Wasn’t expecting it to be that tall.

I adore the consistent callbacks that Bdubs has dropped over the years to OOGE. Throws me back to watching those series back in the day in an instant. Keep it up Ladders.

Etho and Bdubs making Mindcrack references after a decade makes me so happy

After watching almost all POVs for the series, I really appreciate Etho’s editing. Keeping in more discussions, more of the jokes and context for the entire session. I often watch other peoples episodes expecting a joke/comment and it’s been edited out, so I always feel that we get a better sense for the series and relationships from Etho’s vids! Also love how both Joel and Etho were like “oh great! It’s YOU” but turned out to be awesome soulmates! Double life will always be my most favorite of the Life series, can't believe this series wasn't scripted, there were so many poetic moments! Ranchers getting their final revenge with warden killing grian, boat boys burning like their ship, even the fact that impulse's death message said he was killed by bdubs 😅 Double life for me isn't about who won, it is about the epic story and amazing chemistry these pairs have with each other!

NOOOOO the SmallEtho/BoatBoys/RocketBoys duo was SUCH a powerful matchup!!! I was looking forward to seeing more shenanigans from them, they complimented each other in skill and in intimidation so PERFECTLY This wasn't the blaze of glory I hoped they'd go down in D: but like Etho said, it was a great relationship while it lasted and they brought some of the best moments during this series

Never change etho, in a world were all thumbnails are edited for click bait and specifically to grab your attention, etho just takes a screenshot and makes sure the content is good. Less emphasis on the advertising, more emphasis on the content. 10/10

Favorite Etho season of 3rd life. Getting to truly see Red Etho unleashed and I hope we get to see that again.

The Dogs of War were no joke! I loved watching Small Etho and the Boat Boys as my main perspective. Also enjoyed watching some of the others as well. These series of limited lives have been fun and thrilling every time! Thank you for all the hard work and dedication Etho, you're always appreciated.

Thanks to Grian and double life we have found some great duos like the Ranch boys and Rocket boys. I hope Etho and Joel team up again.

I will just say, should definitely have a ban on trapping nether portals, it just seems cheap and since the map is so small very easy to link up to other peoples portals. Anyway now that rant is over, such a great series, you and Joel had such good chemistry. Looking forward to another season.

Man those messed up portal physics cost them the game. I was really excited for their group of four to fight the dysfunctional couples, but they got unlucky with those portals.

SmallEtho is the best pairing of this season. Started off not as close and here we are in Episode 6 being the most chaotic and entertaining pairing for the whole season.

Idea for a new season! "Secret Life" Players are given 3 lives to start. At the beginning of the season everyone is given one specific player at random who they are assigned to kill. They don't have to kill this player BUT, if the do, they will gain an extra 2 lives. Think boogeyman mechanic meets the game Assassin. Once red however, the prize drops to only 1 extra life. Lives can be gifted to other players, same as season 2.

A huge thank you to Etho for being part of this ridiculous series, all 3 now have left me waiting for Friday's for eps to come out, and then hoping the next one comes soon. To you and everyone else thank you for your time and effort to release content. Watching you guys has filled a huge hole in life I never knew was there.

Such a great season to watch, Joel and Etho together as chaos gremlins the whole time was amazing to see, I wish this season could have lasted longer. I hope there’s atleast potential to see more of these two in the future. GG boat boys. I’ve gone from having no idea who Etho was back in the Desert in third life when his enderpearl trick didn’t work, to being more excited for his episode of double life than Grians.

Rocket Boys brought down by their own hubris. Should’ve listened to Impulse. As someone once said, Impulse is a bit of a genius. :p Kinda figured how this was how it would go, you and Joel on the same team. Act first, think later. But it made for a extremely entertaining season!! GG I hope you will do more collabs with Joel in the future. I’d love to see you two take on an adventure map together one day.
