Last week I found a 3 pack bundle box at my local Walmart of Double Masters, after not seeing one for a year almost. First pack had Dark Confidant and Jace as the double mythic, it was magical.
The borderless foils from Doubles Masters in general are some of the most stunning cards I've seen. Expedition Map, Toxic Deluge, Cyclonic Rift, gawddamn.

The original foil Mishra's Baubles from Cold Snap are up to $145 now in NM, more if they're pack fresh. It's crazy how much some first series foils go for.

I remember i opened a sword of feast and famine and a force of will in the same pack. I bought from wally world in a 3 pack set. it was insane what a great set.
Very mixed feelings here. On the one hand, he only hit 3 cards in the top 30 (and none in the top 10) and just on board at the end has over $300 showing. On the other hand, as a product... 40 mythics, 120+ rares is awful. Of the mythics, almost half are worth less than the price of a pack even at MSRP prices - $15 (and significantly less than half at current $~21 a pack rates). Of the rares, 87 are worth less than $5, with a mountain of stinkers worth pennies - that's 72% for those counting worth a quarter of a pack. Tons of value in this set, but they also buried it in so much chaff. Unless you're moving lots of volume the potential swing on this product is momentous. If you're buying to crack the odds of a dude are pretty high (haven't run full value on the above, but wouldn't shock me if it was under $500), and as a product the super high starting price point I think is going to drive down the demand for sealed.
WoTC claims that mythic rares are meant to represent cards which are extraordinarily special and rare within the lore, like Planeswalkers and legendary permanents. Ensnaring bridge seems like it's a mythic in this set just because it is a good card

Opened my first first edition FaB box pulled 980$ worth of cards going to my LGS to sell em and buy 2 more boxes.... Gotta roll the dice again when you strick luck like that.... Can't wait to actually play a game but first ride lady luck till she's done giggity 😈
Hey Rudy, we need a solid talk about older card (including but not limited to RL) prices. When you mentioned "museum" level, I was a bit befuddled. Are you implying they will get so high that only people that could afford them will be museums and other plays that procure and display works of art? I'm saying this as someone with a personal collection approaching $200k and concerned if I ever went to sell it, I'd struggle to find a buyer as it would be too expensive for even the upper-end collectors. I'm saying this as my personal goal was to nurse my collection to half a million that I may be shooting myself in the foot.

Lame comment incoming.... yeah know, the first couple masters products kicked ass, they really did. Now, sure they pick hot topic secondary market cards to put in the set but I just can't get behind reprint products anymore... my lack of vision is your gain, lol! Great to see some boxes opened!
This box was an absolute dumpster fire, and at best patron made back 50-60% of the box cost if they were to sell the contents before fees, shipping, and tax on the box (so minus another 15-20%). Watching this video though, you wouldn't know it because Rudy is pumping Double Masters boxes.
Make a video speculating on the effect of Amazon and affirm letting you make payments over 8 weeks with no interest and longer terms at 15%, what does this do to the Hasbro pallets of jumpstart and other things moving forward. Please :)))
Stop looking at TCGPlayer mid pricing. The card content here is about $300 on TCGPlayer low, which is closer to a real value. The boxes cost $580-$600 before tax. Horrible negative EV.
@@MapRef41N93Wx 1. Boxes are going for 520USD 2. I wasn't looking at mid I went out and put into cart all the singles at the Lowest Price point ignoring all shipping costs. 3. Again I was talking to the value you get instead of having to buy these cards on singles of course singles are still better it was just a good box. 4. Sorry if you don't like the set.
"very last double masters": besides the pallets he has. The entire purpose of this channel is for Rudy to constrict the market. Bought all PSA 10 Alpha/Beta. Bought up multiple older cards and wont sell them? That's "alpha (only Rudy makes money and manipulates the market) investments"
