Double silver metal detecting with The Hoover Boys in Scotland and the XP DEUS 2 and Minelab Equinox 800!

John, your first show is not a winder but the suspension loop for a pocket watch. I use one every day so am familiar with these. They are a weak point on the chain/watch link.

Hi John the Elsie brooch says RD NO for registration number yours starts 4 if its six numbers then it dates 1903 to 1907 as the only years starting which start number 4 Registration numbers can be found online Some great finds love following your adventures and seeing great finds Greeting from the other Perth Western Australia

I prefer a garden knife for small digging . there are many to choose from. It is the sharpest little tool! I have tried many hand spades they all sucked. The garden knife does not disappoint!😊

U always make me laugh when u find a William II coin 😂 coz u spell him Gvllelmus instead of Gullelmus. The name comes from the french Guillaume. So the first v is a u as the one at the end. Luvs your vids. Carry on like that.

That is a Unimog at 3.59, so probably the chassis you dug up earlier.

It is just a hook that is suspended off a wire or string that feeds through the loop. The hook has a rounded (snake) head on it to prevent the hook from catching on the materials that hang from it, thereby preventing snags on the materials and holes through the materials (usually cloth).

Is it not possible the threaded screws were added later to an older lead handle? Have a look at where the threads attach and see if everything there looks original.

you did ask...2nd find : the bottom half of a swivel clip. the eye the clip went into is broken. horse stuff such as a lead rope clip

I remember spending half pennies in the early 80s - back when you could get 2 sweets for 1p lol. It could be a snake buckle, looks like if maybe broke and they reused it?
