In Hartlepool a protester was repeatedly hit with a baton on lower legs and repeatedly punched in the ribs whilst face down, he was then laid on is belly in a unsafe place where timber, bricks and other things were thrown at police in 2 different directions which wasn't far from the guy detained, he was there for at least 20 minutes.. The police even pushed an old man who was shielding is wife who were trying to go home and even shouted at them with an insult thrown in. illegal arrests to build a false picture, me and my colleague was walking back from work found ourselves trapped, i asked the officers if we could go as we was in the wrong olace at the wrong time and he told us we was being held under section 41 i replied we was walking past and we work in the governmemt building which i cant name. then we found ourselves in a smaller group and my colleague was arrested and let go two hours later. A formal complaint will be made directly from a government official to the met on our behalfs. i wasnt on the fence due to not being involved in politics but after expiercing first hand and witnessing the violence and law being broken by the police and arressting anyone they want. im starting to wonder are these people right in what they say. police who are suppose to uphold the law breaking it
