I don't think foreigners in the UK mind the English waving the English flag in their own country. It's normally the 'progressive', posh, left-wing, middle-class British people who object to it.
I'm Scottish. I have Union flag, and St Andrews cross, T shirts , caps , cushions etc. The English should fly the St George cross any time they like. It's your flag. The Union flag is another flag they hate, not just because it's the British flag, it is also a Christian flag, with the cross of St George, cross of St Andrew and of St Patrick

Morning Mr 77th! Firstly, what he is saying is not 'proven false information', or a lie, it's a contention, You have NEVER SEEN all these places either so you do not know that it's incorrect. In fact somewhere in every country, on a town hall, on a front lawn, in a government facility, a flag is probably flying at this moment, so it's probably true. Our government and media, in particular the propagandists who pay you, have freedom to promote lies, indeed that is their actual job. Anyway, freedom does include the right to promote lies, and the freedom to call them out with truth. Oh, by the way 'exel' is spelt 'excel'.
