Personally, most makeup primers either exaggerate my skin texture/pores or really create a smooth and blurred canvas to apply makeup. What does makeup primer do for you?

Happy Friday 🧡 everyone I'm over 70 yrs. Old. I use DHC Velvet Skin Coat instead of makeup. It minimizes fine lines and pores. You can wear makeup over it if you want. I'm on my third tube

Always use an eyeshadow primer and I never substitute it with a concealer. Concealers just aren't meant to prime the eyelids because most have oil them and our eyelids produce a lot of oil on their own.

I’m addicted to Tarte Poreless Primer. Love love love it! Anastasia is the shiz for any brow work. And my fave part of your videos now is Emm and all his baby sounds, reminds me of when mine were littles. 🥰🥰🥰

I use that specific mascara primer for years now, I think it makes a huge difference on the way your lashes looked in this video. :)

I think certain eyeshadow primers really work but I haven't found a face primer worth anything to date. Wet N Wild Photofocus and Milani eyeshadow primers work well and are inexpensive so I can spend my money on the fun stuff.

From a Makeup artist best lip primer, good exsfoliation before with moisturized sugar scub. Then let a balm or light oil sit while u do your face but use a cotton pad and toner whipe off your lips will have the best prife possible. Smooth hydrated skin.

When I apply primers I feel it's a hit or miss. I notice at times that there is lines even on the eyelids.

Eyeshadow primer is my favorite primer as well. I’ve just never had good results with actual face primers and I’ve tried soooo many. I just gave up on finding one for my skin and just moisturize well instead.

I’ve been enjoying the Ulta brand primers, especially the pore minimizing one. Any silicone based primers pill on my face. If I don’t wear primer I hate wearing foundation. I have combo skin and it always clings to dry spots. A good moisturizer underneath seems to help as well.

I use Benefit porefection primer for my face. It really makes a difference in how well my makeup stays on throughout the day and it makes my pores appear smaller. Win win!

Thing is though this can't be 100% fair because some primers don't work with certain foundations. I think it would be more fair if you used a combination that you have used previously and knew they worked together XxX Love watching your video's, Emm is adorable and I love watching him grow XxX

I love eye primers and some face primers. Smashbox photo finish is the best for my face. I can go hours including with my face perspiring, and if I just gently blot off the moisture, my makeup still looks amazing. Other primers havent even come close.

I got that primer. I went into ulta and they gave me that one to try. I don't like it. It settled into ALL of my lines and exaggerated my pores it was horrible!!!!

Bronzer/ blush looked better at the end on the none primer side. The only noticeable primer wear improvement was the mascara and eyeshadow in my opinion. 😊

I love these wings! And I actually prefer the mascara without the primer, the lashes are more separated and as a result they seem longer

I agree. The mascara only side looks feathery and natural. I have both products and the primer makes the mascara look clumpy. I Love the mascara though.

I’m 50 and recently discovered Strivectin Line BlurFector Wrinkle Blurring Primer and I love it!!! I think it was Angie from Hot & Flashy that recommended it

I feel as though concealer makes my eye shadows crease because it is a creamier formula. My 3 favorite eye primers are Urban Decay, Milani, and Ulta makes an amazing one. I’m not a fan of the face primer you used. I do not like the way it sits on my skin and it balls on me. I love a great eyelash primer. Lancôme makes a black one I want to try.

You do not have hooded eyes! If we can see your moveable lid, they’re not hooded! I would kill for all that lid space! It stinks to spend the time doing your shadows and no one can see it. Too Faced and Hourglass have the best shadow primers for mature skin. Everything else pills or skips on my dry lids, including Urban Decay. I don’t understand the great reviews on that or Nars.

Rare Beauty's eye primer is good. My eyes get very dry too and it works nice.
