Thanks for watching!! We're about to hit 40k subscribers!! Help us get to 75k by the end of the year by sharing, liking, commenting, and subscribing! Good luck on the courts this week!
I have a great idea for a video: pair two top level players (5.0 or better-you and some other guy), against two 3.5 players. Then after, replay in slow motion with analysis on what the 3.5’s did wrong.
My teammate will appreciate this video since he's the one who usually takes the brunt of my 3rd shot meatballs I've been sending over the net, resulting in him getting it driven in his grill. 😂
This is THE BEST video I've seen that encapsulates fundamental, overall pickleball strategy: concise, understandable, and to the point. Absolutely excellent. Thank you!
Dude, this is one of the best videos you’ve made. Super clear point by point break down…and the editing is on point. Keep ‘em coming. I’m sharing this now with a buddy of mine who I’ve been trying to teach how to play.
10:20 I'm not subscribed to _any_ RU-vid channel because the recommendation algorithm casts a wider net. If the RU-vid metrics were any good, they would have set aside the determined non-subscribers, and told you what percentage of people who give any stinkbricks at all about the subscribe button are subscribed to your channel.
Thanks so much for your very helpful videos! I watch them over and over each week to reinforce good habits in my brain! Slowly improving with awareness and repetition! At 71 I will never have reactions from my 30’s but at least I can be more prepared and ready physically and mentally! Thanks!!
5:30 The required accuracy for the drop should have been explained more thoroughly. Against a very tall opponent who reaches proactively into the kitchen, you have a much narrower target to get the ball to bounce. People aren't going to start using their mediocre drop shot if they rarely succeed because they aren't judging all of the critical success factors.
Newbie here been watching your vids alot in past month. Had a club tournament experienced player and newbie (me 3months playing). Thanks for the great instruction, we won! Wish I could upload the pic with the trophy 🤪
So much good information and strategy in this video! I’ve done a lot of private lesson. You’ve summed up a good bit of what I’ve learned in less than 15 mins. Well done! Looking forward to the next video😊
@juleslovesya: I think because you really don't have enough time but, more importantly, it's not necessary. Generate the power you want by getting into position (footwork) and accelerating quickly through your swing to/through contact through legs, hips, shoulders, etc. Easier said than done (at least for me :>})
When hitting my returns I try to hit deep and on the center line. By keeping the ball in the center of the court it lessens the chance my opponent can hit a drive down the line.
Good information, you obviously play at a high level. It would be interesting to see some play from the other players in your video. (Your partner only hit one ball during all the demonstration points.) It would have been helpful to see how the shots you hit help set up your partner to kill the ball.
I’m a subscriber and LOVE your content and it’s helped me up my game, and I love sharing your insight with friends. However, I was a bit disappointed that your partner in this video did not get the opportunity to demonstrate a single shot. It was distracting for me that she was their for appearance only - in reality, a partner would get some of the shots - share the spotlight.
That was my sister and she kept trying to leave during the video 😂. It’s tough finding people to stand out in the sun with me. But you are right.. I’ll do better next time
