That was realistic in the sense that the other kids didn't laugh at Connie's expense. Kids aren't always cruel. But you know what I find baffling? The fact that Roger keeps getting invited to things.
Roger invited himself. It is revealed in the last episode that Roger repeated 6th grade for 3 years making him 14/15 and the other kids 11/12 so he likes to intimidate them. As kids 3 years is a big age gap.
That is ture. There's a big size difference between me as a 12 and 15 year old. 9 and 12 year old but not so much between 15 and 18 not so much. @@qwertasdcfghjklmo24z
Yeah it really depends. If it’s a popular kid, they might laugh along depending on just how cruel they’re being- but the antisocial bully will pretty much get no laughs. Everyone else wants them gone too.
The best Karma, and reaction, Roger got which to this day always makes me laugh is when he admitted to framing Doug and stealing Mr. Bone's Yodeling trophy while Doug was serving detention. The build up of pride and ignorance over the school's PA, loud speaker system only made the build up of Mr. Bone's anger even funnier! 🤣🤣
We gonna ignore the fact that Doug got a kiss from his crush? Maybe not on the lips, but still, getting a kiss from a crush would've had me floating on a cloud.

"Sweet not to do what?" "Not to do this!" "Ahhhhh!" "Ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha!" (Gets punched in the gut by Connie)"Why don't you grow up you big baby?" "Excuse me!"
Serves Roger right for humiliating Connie. Connie: "Right! I've just about had enough!" (punches Roger in the stomach) "Why don't you grow up, you big baby?!"
Roger was a jerk in this instance (as he was in many instances), but this show wouldn't have been the classic it was without him. Moments like this exemplify that. But good on Connie sticking up for herself and putting Roger in his place
Honestly that is great of her to punch that bastard for what he just did. I definitely remember enjoying that truth or dare episode when I watch the show as a kid. What's really weird is a few years ago I tried re-watching the show again and I don't know maybe it's just some early season thing but it just didn't seem as good as what I remembered when I saw it as a kid
Huh... I didn't know Roger's friend just has a white mark *over* his eye, I always thought he had a pop-eye or something but you can see his eye lid over his actual eye size at the end of the clip.
Lol finally someone freaking punched Roger, my whole childhood was waiting for Doug to finally slap Roger upside his head instead of make believe daydreams lol
One of Becca Lish's two loudest screams in this show, the other being Judy in "Doug's Fat Cat" when she finds Stinky lying in her costume chest and getting cat hairs everywhere. (I don't recall any moments with Theda screaming, aside from "Doug's Bad Trip", but the whole Funnie family screamed together at that part, so to me it doesn't count.)
