Despite my family having season tickets, I've somehow only ever been to a single football game. I was lucky enough for this to be it. The Pats took a beating, but this was worth showing up for all on its own. I was so glad to be able to see him wrap up his career this way after being a fan of his since I was a kid.
When you least expect it, the Patriots pull out some old obscure play from the archives of football that baffle the fans (and even players) and force the referees to consult the rule books to understand what it all means. Can you say Tuck Rule?!?
@@sheepdavis I am not that interested. I like Flutie, but I stopped following gridiron football over 20 years ago. I much prefer association football these days (soccer).

no 1 point. it was an extra point attempt after a touchdown. but instead of having a holder he performed a drop kick. He kicks the ball on a bounce after it has been dropped on the ground.
This one was worth 1 like SeamHead33 said, but I believe technically someone could attempt a drop kick like this for 3 points like a field goal with a holder.
