I knew the guy that climbed into that killer whale tank in the 90s and got thrashed to death. He was a strange one, he had taken a vow of silence and would write to you on a pad of paper. It was the same whale that killed the trainer in that killer closer bit.
Doug is one of my favorites as well. One of the few standup comedians whose specials I can watch over and over again and still laugh hysterically. He has so many gems "mother and the afterlife" "60 inches of Aids" "Jesus Never made you laugh" "fetus photo" "mentally ill vs mentally challanged" the list goes on
i think i m the first that suggested Doug to you. But anyways ,i m happy that you found him! Stanhope's liberty bit and/or proof of afterlife are a must! And plz do more Chappelle,especially from netflix specials
Love that you love Doug, at his best he's the greatest. You should check out his 'mental illness' bit, it's about 20 minutes long and it's brilliant. Not just funny but it really shows he gives a shit about people he cares about.

Doug rly sees the world as it is, unfortunately so smart he can´t handle the stupidity of this world without numbing himself with alcohol and drugs, at least it makes him brave enuf to share his genius in such a funny way
Doug is a legend, his comedy often goes over people's heads, you have to listen closely to some of his stuff to really get it (if you can find his bit on "Antinatalism" or "Is monogamy natural", check it out). And he is alive.....wish Ralphie May and Patrice O'Neal were, too. If you haven't already, check Patrice O'Neal's "question to women" or when he compares dating to fishing.
He's not dead, he's good friends with a friend of mine. He has one of the best tellings of the Aristocrats joke ever. Be great to see a reaction to that. But its a pretty hard core joke.
Doug is the funniest stand-up comic in the fucking world. He is wrong tho, at least in this instant, since the actual issue is illegal immigrants lowering wages in the lowest paying professions, not just taking jobs, but still, he does have a point, nationalism is stupid.
