Yeah he's wildly intelligent. But definitely doesn't have the personality to be a lawyer, it was most likely parental influence. He mentions a bunch that he doesn't enjoy talking about his law degree.
I know Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost my password. I love any tips you can give me!
@Daxton Winston Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Greg was a beast at the roast!! Just brutal!! Another thing about him is that he used to be a lawyer. He went to Harvard Law School (class of 90); he and Obama were there at the same time. You should check out his roast of Flava Flav, cheech & Chong, & David Hasselhoff. RIP, Greg.
Greg's roast set for Flavor Flav is quite possibly one of the funniest roasts I've ever heard, hope you get a chance to check it out. Dude says Flav "looks like a skeleton wrapped in electrical tape" which made me nearly pass out the first time I heard it.
"Ice T, you fucking fossil. You're so old, the first thing you bought with your record deal money was your freedom!" I died. Legit died. I'm posting this from beyond the grave.
There was a lot of his honest personal feelings in the Larry the Cable guy segment. He really was depressed, angry, and dumbfounded by the mainstream lame comedic circuit. That was a big factor in his death. And he was right. RIP.
He was awesome roaster but generally not very funny as a comedian. I tried to watch the dumpster fire that was Collin Quinns Tough Crowd. Thats my guess why he wasn't more main stream. As roasters i would say Greg was #1 Jeff was #2 Lisa #3 It's a shame.
@@brianadams429 I have to disagree. I watched his "Midlife Vices" Comedy special and he killed it. Just as funny as any of his roasts. I think what let him down in the long run was the alcohol and drugs which took his creativity and work ethic away. Sounds like he turned to drink and drugs when he saw untalented people becoming succesful. So it was a vicious circle. Comedy is like everything you need to work it long and hard before seeing results but even then there are no guarantees. Life is weird, random and unfair. Success comes to those who you would never dream of being successful. I have tried to watch Larry the Cable Guy and I just dont find him funny in the slightest and yet he makes millions! There is a whole low brow audience that he reasonates with who love him. Similarly Carrot Top is super lame to me but again he is wildly successful. Find your niche and do what you love best.
@@lukaduka1001 larry was doing stand up here in Fl in the 80's. The Ron and Ron Show on 95 ynf radio station out of Tampa Bay, Ron Bennington which saw Dan (Larry) and had him call in on the show which is where the Larry the cable guy name came from. Larry vanished for a while then he wound up on 101.1 wjrr morning show in Orlando which he was funny on until Foxworthy got him to to join the blue collar tour. I saw one for sure, maybe two stand up shows of Gregs and i hate to say it wasn't memorable. The dude was the best at insulting people. That was his gift. Any roast without Greg just isn't a roast. Sad he had a substance abuse problem. I thought he would have had more fame just because the talent he brought to the roasts, no one can ever fill his shoes on that front. Collin Quinns show was so bad, it would have been a worse torture method to make terrorists watch it than water boarding them.
Lisa Lampanelli is a roaster she's known as the queen of mean she is savage and she's loved because she's really good at giving it out but equally she's really good at taking the meanest jokes too. You should react
It was hilarious to see your reaction to finding one of the most savage roasters there ever were, man it so sucks that both Giraldo and Patrice O'Neal are gone. Funny as hell reaction though.
Apparently Sarah Silverman was offended after the James Franco roast because of what Jonah Hill said about her. But she defended his right to say whatever he wanted.
If you can find the Roast of Flavor Flav, he was hilarious on that. Roasts are known for being hard on comedians, like they take a few days off afterwards, especially female comedians because their appearance is always mocked so hard. Fun fact: Anthony Jeselnik has never done a joke about a woman's appearance.
Greg RIP… check out the special documentary on RU-vid where comedians talk about him. Greg was a legend at serving a roast! They all knew what they were getting into with Greg. Super sharp in the know man! It’s so strange how those are the ones that always 🤔 leave us to soon
Not only were his roasts top notch but there was an undercurrent of truth, hurt and anger to them as he couldnt understand why some people became so successful. Roasts were a way of releasing that anger and expressing himself.
Greg did a bunch of pilots for tv shows. He spent many years doing the dingy comedy club circuit around the country. Performing for like 50 people many night in podunk cities. When he passed, many of his close friends said that some of these roasts, it’s was him letting out aggression because he knew he was funnier that some of the people in the roast. He just wasn’t as marketable. If you think people can get easily canceled we today? He was doing shit back in the day where feelings weren’t hurt much and people still wanted to cancel him. Greg went hard. RIP to a legend. Check out him on tough crowd with Colin, Patrice and the rest. Greg was one of the few that I’ve seen that could make Patrice laugh so hard. RIP to Patrice as well. Another damn legend gone too soon
love the channel! theres so much more roasts from Greg Giraldo that you'll enjoy! the roast of flavor flav is my personal favorite! also, his special Midlife Vices would be a great one to watch. Sadly, it was his only one he died shortly after..
If they did a list of the top 5 roasts ever it would just be 5 of Greg’s sets. His work on the Bob Saget and David Hasselhoff roasts are probably the best roasts ever. Jimmy Carr on the Rob Lowe roast and Natasha Leggaro on the bieber roast are up there too…
My favorite Greg Giraldo roast joke is "David Hasselhoff's liver is deader and blacker than Gary Coleman"... Which was super foul cause Gary Coleman had just died..

Jay. Greg did a lot more of these. Also you should check out Ralphie May. Here are 2 links (part 1 & 2) all from one appearance. He takes on EVERYBODY!! Get ready for lots of laughs and a rough ride lol. These roasts use to be brutal to one another, lol. Geraldo was one of the best at it. His standup was good too. Shame he passed early to drugs. I think him and Patrice O'Neil would have been interesting in our current times if still alive, both vey sharp people
