Doug Wimbish Bass Rig Tour 

Such a cool guy..... I was homeless in the park playing guitar back in 03 he gave me a few bucks and said he liked the way I play. Gave me his card and said to call him if I ever needed help with my music... I carried that card around for ten years.... Nice guy

This guy does not need a band. The music he can make on his own is more than enough for me.

I remember seeing him play this solo piece at a Summer Namm after party. in Nashville last year with the supro guys. He is a beast of a bass player. I love bass players that are equally or more of a gearhead than guitarists. Justin Chancellor and Jon Stockman also come to mind.

Met him outside a pub in London during the annual Bass Show. We both were having a smoke & chatted away. Never told him how much of a fan & his influence on me. I called my dad later to tell him like a giddy teenager 🤘🏻

He is an bass hero, for me, since i start listening to living colour ,in the age of 13. Doug pushes the boundaries, in questions of sound.

Doug's understanding of his gear is remarkable. I'm not a pedal guy, but, that's partly because I don't have the patience to learn what Doug has. Imagine seeing Mason from Vertex do a rebuild of this board and making everything nice and tidy on GOMC boards. Would be an awsome video.
