Listening to this makes me envious of musicians born in the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s.

I just briefly met him after a Living Colour gig. I was watching him from about arms length on the side stage and was BLOWN AWAY! Afterwards he introduced himself and was such an engaging fella. Fan for life now. Such talent!! Nice human!

Doug actually will show you stuff if you ask. I was at their CBGB show in December 2000 (when Living Colour got back together.) After the show I askd him if he was using a pick on a solo part and he not only told me what he was doing but actually SHOWED me. By the way it was his fingernail.

Saw Doug doing a bass clinic with Keith Le Blanc at the Bass Centre in Wapping on the day that we heard Bernard Edwards had passed - Doug blew me away with his approach to sounds and using the bass as a truly electric instrument with effects.. a truly great and under-recognised innovator

Dom, these Sessions are just so awe inspiring. So awesome. I’ve been spending my days listening and peering over to view, when someone says something that puts my head on the proverbial swivel. LOL! Love it. So great. You spoke with a hometown musician friend of mine, of whom I hadn’t seen or spoken to in years - last name rhymes with Pesco... Ha! Doug and Luke and on and on. Great stuff for a newly impressionable, as well as a seasoned professional. I hope you can keep these going. Wachtel and Gadd and the cat who played for Kiss... LOL! I know. Which one? Bless you, Dom. A fellow Long Islander (having the misfortune to be living in the state of NV).

Rumble is a great movie. Tack>head is a hell of a band. Stevie Salas and Bernard Fowler put out an incredible album and a half as Nicklebag. And finally,I had the great opportunity to see Doug,Will and David Sancious on guitar play in a small club in Providence. To be able to see Doug up close was a real experience
