been doing these for bout 30 years. as with wood decking good luck putting a replacement liner in. and stretching a liner over a new pool is sketchy enough..think of how fun it won't be over an old pool and deck! those metal clips will put holes in the liner as the protective plastic wears and pops off. Not to mention the part that has no plastic.
in uk a doughboy swimming pool 24 by 12 costs 2,500 pounds for the pool.To put it in the ground would cost 4 thousand if you did it yourself.total 6,500.I have a doughboy 24 by 16 and that was 2,700 but now thinking of putting one in the ground,no doughboy pool costs 10 thousand dollars that I know of.perhaps they are more expensive in usa.
Doughboy has mid and high end models with resin parts. The more common sizes (16x32+) are all near $10k USD. The Tuscany model, in 16x32, costs north of $16k. Those prices include kit plus equipment, but not installation. Basic installation and excavation is usually around $2500 ~ $3000. Fully inground plus concrete decking, as in this video, will always run near the $20k range (not including the pool).
