There is another lady named Jamerrill Stewart that has a large family, everything she does is on a budget she buys a months worth of groceries for what Alicia spends in a week, she makes amazing recipes to freeze for later, plus homeschools her children, when a child is in the video which is rare their faces aren't shown at least I've never seen a video with their whole face visible maybe a chin or hand at most 😂 Alicia should take note of how Jamerrill does it.
The thing that blows my mind is if you can afford that much crap…you can certainly afford organic delicious snacks/meats/cheeses etc. Even a nutritionist to plan out meals for you, probably even delivered to your house so you’re not wasting time/money doing these outrageous shopping trips.
That food stored in the garage is not safe from the weather changes. Mice chew through the weather stripping on the bottom of that garage door. Rain blows in when the garage door is open. It is not a good idea to store food in the garage. Cold winter and hot summers spoil that food in the package. Moisture causes mold through the cardboard packages. Bugs come in every time the garage door opens. Eww. I do not want to think about her poisoning those children.
I’ve never seen a family waste so much money before in my entire life. It is insane the amount of things that they buy and where they buy them. Like when they went to the airport to fly to New York City and she bought 14 headphones at the airport store where it’s like triple the price. In Palm Beach... well South Florida.... we call it "ghetto rich". Basically when someone spends a large portion of their life paycheck to paycheck and not having quite enough.... they have no clue how to manage large sums. They blow through funds like crazy. Buying all the stuff they were not able to afford, always wanted.... etc. I also think she might need therapy for (a lot of reasons) one being "food insecurity. I honestly feel bad for the woman. She needs friends in her life.
On the topic of acid reflux, yesterday in her Unboxing video, she scolds P for eating too much sugar. Now, she purchased a new bfast item…donuts and had the big red balls to ask him “you knoooow what happens when you eat too much sugar”. She’s the worst

That's just what happened to me, too. I'm an only child and don't have any kids myself, so I thought that she really was so cool, taking care of 12 kids. But after coming across Josh's channel and starting to binge watch all the DD videos it's like my eyes have been opened, as well. Holy shit. I've even mostly stopped watching her videos now, I've watched a few shorts but that's about it. And when I do watch her, I'm quietly judging her.
Does anyone else get excited when it pops up that Josh has done another Dougherty Dozen video. I'm from the UK so we don't have a lot of the food you guys have and one of your followers described velveeta as melted plastic so I don't fancy trying that! Keep up the great work Josh you are amazing.
It’s not plastic LOL but it’s not healthy for you. Super processed cheese with preservatives. We eat it a few times a year but only to make a cheese dip for celebrations.
Velveeta is disgusting. If you eat a lot of processed food then you’ll probably like it. If you eat more clean then you probably won’t be able to have more than two bites before you start feeling like you’re dying from dehydration. It’s got almost half your recommended daily sodium content in just 1 cup serving.

I live in a town with 60K inhabitants. We Swedes are quite fond of recycling (it is kind of a national sport), and I think that this family alone produce more waste than our entire town. Because there is no way in that-warm-place they recycle anything. Ever.
In all the crap in that house, I’ve never seen a recycling bin! Besides all of the plastic bottles, they use a forest worth of paper products in a day!

I can understand not recycling everything all the time because sometimes you just don't have the time or energy, but it really doesn't take more than a few minutes per week to sort things properly before taking a detour to the disposal place (it's about 100 meters longer to drop by on the way to the store). Now, I am single and I get that I produce a lot less waste than a family of 14, but with that many kids it would be the easiest thing in the world to make recycling into a game for the kids. And add a few silly things if needed: I have invented my little game of light bulb basketball which is just as stupid as it sounds. We sort used light bulbs in these wide containers of 1,5 x 1 meters, so I stand roughly halv a meter away as I have horrible aim and throw the light bulb into the open. It is impossible to miss but I still cheer every time I score because sometimes you just have to be silly even if you are 50+. The trick is to be so close that youcannot miss as it would be quite nasty trying to pick up all the pieces of a broken light bulb. I also bowl when I help my brother recycle. I stand some distance away in front of the container whrere there s quite a huge opening and throw the metal cans into it. Quite often they land on the ledge and then I'll try to knock them into the bin with the next can. So, that are my stupid games: light bulb basketball and bowling with cans of cat food...

Especially with a non present partner. The children do no chores or anything really to help either. I had 6-3 naturally, 2 bonus girls and a nephew. They all did what they could according to age, to pitch in. We had a chore chart and allowance. My favorite time in my life was raising my kids..... this poor lady is 1 kid away from a nervous breakdown
Honey, I raised the nieces and nephews and I know that I did a better job then this lady. I do not drink and do not use drugs. I cooked meals mostly from scratch. I helped them learn life skills. I had educational field trips. I worked on reducing waste with them. I trained them to be responsible for their belongings. I gave them chores to learn about working to pay your own way. This woman is really wasteful. I had a lousy alcoholic mother that did not cook and did not work. My mother was a mean drunk. Heck, my mother would get 2 pitchers and fill one with radiator fluid and make Kool Aid using food color to make it look like the radiator fluid. Then she would try to get us to drink from the pitchers. It is not safe to store groceries in the garage. That is a waste of food. The heat and cold changes destroy food packages. Mice chew through the weather strip and get into the food stored in the garage. Yeah it is not safe to store food in a garage. That is just common sense.

My kids would live on junk if they could. But as a parent you are responsible for their health. One of the biggest things we can teach our kids is healthy diet and exercise. Both my husband and I are overweight but none of our kids are. My husband has been working out for years and is now at 215! Im around 225.
For sure. My kids would definitely eat a lot more sugar if I didn’t mediate 😅 they love more nutritious foods too but they won’t think of those foods right away because they go for quick and easy with instant satisfaction lol

Funny story when BJ 's built stores near my house years ago....they sent out reps who walked into our office and said "hey we are signing people up for a free year membership for BJ 's"....my entire office was so confused for a minute and then when the reps left we laughed so hard! OMG, I found it. In NC & several other states it is definitely illegal for the supervisory licensed adult to be under the influence when a permitted driver is driving. It's called "Abbagail's Law" due to the death of a little girl who was killed in a car crash while her cousin was driving & Abbagail's uncle was too drunk himself to drive. 💔
In NY you can't get a permit until 16. And can't drive after dark, or with more than three, related, minors in the vehicle with you. Last time I checked at least. I'm fairly certain an intoxicated driver doesn`t qualify as supervision either. Plus, I am not sure what you mean by bus... but if it's an actual bus, you need a different type of license altogether, which I'm not so sure you can even get one of those if you don't have a regular license first. Now I'm curious.

Id you see yesterday’s, where they had donuts and grapes for breakfast but she knows you’ll snark on her because she’s said “ oh yeah and grapes so we can pretend to be a healthy family”. I laughed knowing she was thinking of you Josh. I think one of the children gave her the box of white claw while she was opening gifts.
We have two snack baskets in our home. One with cookies and candy bars and one with crisps(or chips as you say on that side of the world 😂) My two kids can pick one thing per day after school and that’s it. Any other snack is fruit, bread or yoghurts. The amount of money she wastes on snacks alone is criminal.

Acid reflux is actually caused due to TOO LOW stomach acid. She should be giving her children a supplement to increase the amount of stomach acid they produce to break down the food she feeds them better. Acid reflux is a secondary issue and those tablets just mask the issue. I did learn this as part of becoming a health coach and the amount of nutrition study journals I read because I’m a nerd about health and the gut. I tried this for my own bloating due to similar problems from autoimmune disease and it did help a lot!
@@cootsunihatesyou yes, the acid that is there/food particles travel back up the esophagus when there is a lack of it to break it all down properly. Inflammation is the root cause of a lot of gastrointestinal problems and ailments.

I use to suffer from acid reflex before I married my husband. Because I never eat fresh vegetables and within one year of being married and eating what he cooked. With fresh foods, my avid reflex totally went away. It’s like she doesn’t care what they eat. She makes what ever is easiest.
She has said their septic tank is broken so they have to get it pumped regularly. They are waiting to be hooked up to city sewer. They have to conserve water usage until that happens. Thus the paper plates, plasticware, et .,
Their septic tank is not broken. It’s simply not made to be used by a 14 person household. Emptying a septic tank isn’t a big deal. Regardless, it makes no difference on why she uses bottled water? Your taps still work regardless of whether or not your septic tank does.
