I've never had those things not provided either but I suppose it's possible. However, I don't trust other people to be clean so I don't consider their linens and such to be clean anyway. I just bring my own items that I need, for my comfort level. 😁

We own an air bnb. We supply towels, sheets, kitchen utensils, toiletries.we supply a washer and dryer detergent, fabric softener, bleach and oxyclean. We ask that people call the property manager if they need something. When the clients leave, sometimes they leave things in the fridge.if it’s never been opened the maid service leaves it,if it’s been opened they toss. Our maid service does a complete cleaning, including spraying the beds for ( yuck) bugs. We do have extra sheets and mattress pads as well as pillows in a large closet. Clients are welcome to use anything, but we ask they fill out a punch sheet so the maid service knows what is what.We have never had a bad experience. We don’t live near the air bnb, it was left to me. I won’t live in Southern California. Lots of people like staying there. We have the management services purchase shampoo and conditioner at Costco, where we have a commercial account. We leave wrapped cookies and chocolates on the family room table for clients to enjoy. I think this lady is weird.Who buys so much shit and just leaves it? Her kids drink too much sugary drinks, especially if they are neurodivergent.

Ever since, I've been traumatized and hyperventilate with making sure every inch of my body is covered as well as my kids. My favorite is the Banana Boat Sports 50, the lotion kind. I feel the lotion kind works way better than the spray on kind.

I volunteer at a food pantry & we have had a surge in new clients bc of this. I’m guessing there are things they are aware their children will destroy , and they still wanna stay at the a b & b, so they will go in , remove the good bedding and towels, likely make the dishes off limits, and then when they leave, put the homes items back in place- otherwise, they will be sued for more than they have when the place is destroyed.
