I just don’t get why they do gifts (piles of crap) for every ‘holiday’. I’ve genuinely never heard of anyone giving gifts for St Patrick’s Day.

No one in the UK or Éire (RoI) celebrates their patron saints by giving gifts. Teach your kids about the history, struggles and successes of their ancestors (if they are of Irish descent) instead. Or celebrate the poetry, literature and art, or the beautiful landscapes and folklores. There is so much more to Ireland than the colour green and a shamrock.

It’s crazy that at the beginning of her adopting and fostering she claimed she wanted to help the kids with food issues by teaching them portioning and to eat fruits if they’re still hungry but now it’s just pure sugar and carbs. You can tell she’s had a tough childhood by some of her behaviors but she shouldn’t ruin these kids’ lives too. They deserve better

Josh, I’m a senior, 70 now, but I love making treats for my grandkids. So on the obscure holidays, I make a box of homemade goodies for them. For Valentine’s Day. I made pretzels, little twist size, dipped in chocolate halfway. The other goodie was sugar cookie bars. I can’t make a regular sugar cookie to save my soul, A couple of years ago I came across a recipe for a bar cookie version & they’re just as good as the cut outs. I try to make one healthy type treat & one sweet treat. A few years ago I made apple muffins (that had very limited sugar& banana bread. Their parents want them to have a limited amount of sweets. This I fell a little short, but their parents had some too. My son has really changed his lifestyle. He’s lost weight, he runs before work & totally changed his diet. So keeping this in mind, when he saw the sugar cookies, he grabbed the box, opened it & took a big whiff, & said, umm sugar cookies, I LOVE these things, they’re SO GOOD!! I think he had 6 of them before we left. It’s so much fun to see my family enjoy what I make for them. I do try to keep the sweets to a minimum. I think I like to do this for them because it’s hard to see them as much as I’d like due to health problems. When I do bake my husband always helps me out because he knows how much my pain increases. But I could buy something but I’d rather give them some goodies that I made with my heart & soul. It wouldn’t be a gift they’ll always have, but they will always have the memories. On another note, did you notice the wet areas on the counter next to Alicia. She must have wiped it just before she started the video! She should have dried it too! What a nut case!

She can't even donate the cups after they lay around unused because she's slapped shamrocks & name stickers on them, such a waste.

As an Irish person the fact that she used four leaf clovers instead of shamrocks is one of the most triggering things she has done 😫

My husband was the director of our local health department. He now refuses to use Airbnb. Hotels go through inspections.

I am from an Irish family, never have I seen this level of crapism... Our St. Patrick's day goes something like this, "what are we doing this year dad?" "Your uncles are coming over, we are going to the pub, your aunties are coming over to help mum cook, then we all come back for a St Patrick's Day celebration" ...never once have I seen green mugs with snacks/sweets .... perhaps im not really Irish....

One of my biggest issues with her gifts and baskets and holidays is that tiny little Harley gets the same thing and amount that Alex who is 18 and well over 6 foot gets. Explain to me why she needs a 32 oz Stanley dupe

When I travel I will 100% take a hotel over AirBNB/VRBO/etc. I have certain chains and hotel types I prefer and seek out that are slightly more expensive. You get points and I feel so much safer at a hotel than traveling as a single woman-have heard too many weird stories about AirBNB.

my grandpa was a catholic irish and loved st patrick’s day. probably more than christmas. it was a huge deal in our family haha but we didn’t do gifts! our grandpa would make us green milk shakes though and i’m sure my grandma gave us chocolate bars or something but she did for every holiday (easter, halloween) but that was a fun tradition. this is just crap and no kid wants it

We have had the same experiences on Royal Caribbean and Carnival cruises where the pools were closed more than they were open.

She gives them gifts for EVERY holiday. They get stuff on St. Patricks day every year. What do they do with all the stuff? Toss it? Cause I highly doubt each kid still has all the toys and junk from the years before. Her house would be absolutely cluttered.

Hi Josh. About her nails. I worked as a nail stylist for several years. People who have been biting their nails extremely since childhood have such nails. The nail bed shortens and the fingertip protrudes more and more beyond the nail and it is impossible for it to regrow.
