@PACIFICNZ I am a Christian and a pacifist, but I would be the first to admit that after the initial missionary movement into Europe (that is, after the "conversion" of Scandinavia and the loss of North Africa) Christendom was a mixture of high culture and invention and barbaric violence. Violence is not the sole prerogative of Islam and calling others "barbaric" would be less hypocritical if Christians were more Christlike. You only have to look at the actions of the "civilised" "Christians" in the last 100 years to see that we can't climb on a moral high horse. Quite apart from the actions of European nations in two world wars, the behaviour of "civilised" troops saving the world from Communism in Vietnam or in the carpet bombing of Laos with DDT comes to mind. Human beings are violent and often barbaric and it is not healthy to project all the violence onto "them" - whether it is the enemy in war, the enemy in Cold War or radical terrorists. (I am not saying that our enemies haven't done evil, whether they are Communists or Islamists - I am just pointing out that all humans are flawed and we can't justify evil on the basis that we are the "good guys". The other half of your question (If it is a question) is easy to answer, not only mathematics and science, including the invention of distillation, but architecture and art, ceramics and textiles - for example, Persian Carpets and Afghan Coats, plus calligraphy and poetry. Omar Khayyam is world-renowned as a poet, for example. Also, if you like to eat Curry, then many dishes in English Restaurants and Takeaways are North Indian (i.e.; Mughal/Muslim) versions of Indian dishes. Biryani is an Indian version of a Persian dish. Every human culture faces similar issues, food and housing and clothing, etc. and every culture is inventive in its own context. I don't know anything about owing, but between 1000-1300 the Islamic world was at its cultural peak and had a strong influence to reviving the European culture. One might find in this the roots of Renaissance in Europe.
@@andreimustata5922 Maybe, in that the Renaissance prompted a wave of invention incorporating recent imports from China and India, as well as developing new ways to fight Islam which was, at that point in time, conquering its way across Anatolia and trying unsuccessfully to get a foothold in Romania and Hungary, and had already been in control of Spain for several hundred years. Regarding your overall point, the house of wisdom in Baghdad had scientists/writers/scholars/philosophers from all Abrahamic faiths, certainly many Christians but also Jews and many Muslims. All contributed much. To attempt to rewrite real history to fit your modern day narrative when you lack complete knowledge of the subject is astounding. Islam certainly has it's issues, so do Christianity and Judaism, but to act as if those people didn't all use their religion as an excuse and it's inherent to a certain religion is astonishing. Buddhism, a religion often known for it's peaceful ways, has monks literally killing non-believers or people against their regime (Myanmar). The Crusades killed thousands of Christians (and Muslims and Jews) in their multiple attempts to conquer the holy land that even led to the sacking of Constantinople (Fourth Crusade). Hindu kings burned many Sikh and Muslims alive. It is people and not religion you should blame for that. Additionally, if you knew anything about Islam, you'd know that many Muslim nations were relatively free and developed midway through the last century (Persia/Iran and Afghanistan) and only got extremist after American involvement. Wahabism (Sunni extreme Muslim ideology that's prevalent in Saudi-Arabia, which mandates Sharia law) is a relatively new phenomenon (stems from the early 20th century, almost a millennium after the onset of Islam). Sharia is also a lot younger than Islam itself. The Bible contains almost as much aggressive language as the Quran. There really isn't an inherent quality Islam has that makes it a lot more dangerous. Fact is, there's been too much immigration in Western nations amongst whom there were a lot of Muslims. It is not Islam's fault that cultures that are so different clash. Nor that allowing literal criminals to enter your country leads to more crime. It is the government's fault for the lack of screening. There's plenty of good people to be found amongst Muslims, just like any religion. Trust me, I'm no fan of Islam but you're going way too far.

But this was all in the 5th Century BC. Long before Christianity and Islam! Modern Algebra has its roots in all of these empires that rose and fell!
you cant deny something is real!nowdays digits 123.. was west arab number!and Algebra was invented by Great center asia origins Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi !no body care you believe or not, because you cant change which was real thing!
"Arabic numerals", zero, and so on came from India; it is well documented and quite famous how it happened, and which Islamic scholar wrote the book at the time. TLDR: Islam transmitted the Indian knowledge to Europeans who didn't know it before. They didn't invent any of that stuff --- it was ancient knowledge from India. The Greeks of course are famous for some geometry. Some of which is also much more ancient knowledge. Have you heard of these things called pyramids?
@@cstacy stop fake propaganda,1 2 3 456 these symbol is western arab number from Algeria, not brahmi or hindu symbol.and Khwarizmi invented all Algebra science system same as now days Algebra systerm,he just referenced ancient hindu math and greek math books, but ancient hindu and ancient greek didnt invented algebra science or any this concept!only 10 decimal digits origins ancient hindu math only.

Greeks and Persian (Iranian) were at war with each other for hundreds of years, and both worked a lot for mathematics, physics, and chemistry. After the Arab attack on Iran and the money in the hands of the Arabs, many Iranians had taken Arabic names, the Iranian scientists were able to continue their research, and the Arabs took advantage of this and the Arabs pretend that this knowledge was born by Arabs, but this is not true! People like Al-Kharazmi, people like Abu Ali Sina Zakaria Razi (Avicina) people like Kashi, they were all Iranians and chose Arabic names to save themselves from any evil and problems. Even the grammar book of the Arabic language was written by an Iranian whose name was Ibn al-Muqafa, and Oxford and Cambridge scholars in history can confirm this. This is a normal thing, when a fascist takes over a country, he attributes everything to himself, that is, all the science and everything that is there, this is like the problems that Hitler had and he wanted to show everything that only has an anti-Jewish origin. Extremist Muslims are the same way and they attribute everything to themselves and consider themselves superior people, What Hitler called Übermensch and Germans as Übermensch!
Al-Khwarizmi wrote "Kitab al hisab al Hindi"( "book of Hindu numericals"). This was translated into Latin by the name 'Algorithmi de Numero Indorum" ("Al Khwarizmi's Indian numericals") This book's name was abbreviated as "Algorithm" That is how the world knows it today
Those Islamic scholars learned from India, while Arabs were trading via the silk route. Even the founder of Algebra, has major work about learning Indian philosophy.
Correct. I was researching about 0 . During my research I find out many things about india .indians invented many many things which we use today even before islam came into existence. Arab used to do trade with India and they translated indian literature into arabic language.they took all the credits, claimed others inventions
At the beginning of the Industrial Revolution there were just 140 inventions available to humanity and just 9 elements. By 1930 all of the elements of the periodic table had been discovered and there were over 10,000 inventions. No elements were discovered by any non European after 1800. The Enlightenment, which preceded the Industrial Revolution, was driven largely by scholars fluent in Greek, Latin and Hebrew. There were no scholars fluent in Arabic.
Yes there were. In Spain. It would help if you studied about the "Escuela de Traductores de Toledo". After the Reconquest of Toledo on the year 1085, which was the capital of the Kingdom of Spain before Muslim conquest of 711, a School of Translators of Toledo emerged, supported by Christian Monarchs as Fernando III "The Saint" and his son Alfonso X "The Wise". When the Umayyads arrived in Spain, they brought with them paper from China and Arabic leather binding, and this is how in the 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th centuries, first in Valencia and then throughout Europe, the great books with their incredible content began to be composed. Since the 14th century, it has designated the different processes of translation and interpretation of classical Greco-Latin Alexandrian texts, which had been translated from Arabic or Hebrew into the Latin language using Castilian or Spanish Romance as an intermediate language, or directly into the emerging vulgar languages, mainly Castilian but also Germanic or English related. It was a huge contribution to the recovery of European wisdom written in non-European languages, such as Arabic or Hebrew, from books taken by the Spanish Christians from the Muslim libraries of the Caliphate of Cordoba and elsewhere. It was a task carried out with success that achieved great significance in the culture of Christianity since its translation activity served as a bridge between East and West for the transmission of Science and the link of the Greco-Latin written legacy preserved in Arabic with the Renaissance.
@@Vayu_arya Really? Such as Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Argentina, Brazil, USA, Russia, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Netherlands, Romania, Greece, Turkey, Central America, Peru, Tunisia, Algeria, Morroco, Japan etc. Many nations picked up the technical and agricultural ideas and ran with them including Tata in India. The Industrial Revolution rendered the traditional empire model irrelevant as all nations/empires measured their power in men and horses along with territory. The steam engine rendered all that increasingly irrelevant and power is still measured in 'horses'. The individuals driving that revolution were not the product of empire and neither did the raw materials come from empire. People like Newton, Newcomen, Trevithick, Bolton, Faraday and Boyle. But then there were others in and from other countries like Tesla, Volta and Mendeleev. In addition much of the African colonisation happened long after slavery had been abolished outside Africa and after the Industrial Revolution was well under way. This colonisation put a stop to ithe slavery of black Africans and White Europeans.
After 732 they realised Attacking west is of no use as adversary is more stronger and fierce in battlefield. They headed towards east. Plundering peaceful kingdoms and Developed societies. We paid very heavy price for following Buddhas kind and Non violence style of lifestyle. Cruel armies of Islam killed all Buddhist in central asia. And hindu and buddhist in India kept fighting these Jehadi islamic forces since 1000 years Saving entire east Asia and China .
@@dsp2035 Yes, I'd seen re India, 400 million killed somewhere, or 80 million - either number being horrendous. There were actually like 500 battles with these peaceful folks, the last or so being Vienna, 1683 - a close call, awful battle, terrible fighting. As you well know, they have not changed their spots.

India has made many contributions to math but Math was used by akkadians egytians and sumerians before the Harappan civilization, the first Indian civilization.
Because they've stagnated - since their heydays of 1400-1600. Basically when they ran out of countries that were easy to conquer. They are still very much in the process of adjusting - religious dogma makes it hard - like stifling the female half of the population.

Islamic and Greek medicines and surgery were based on the seminal work done by Sushruta who wrote the "Sushruta Samhita" more than 2800 years back. Sushruta is known to be the first surgeon who wrote down in his book Sushruta Samhita about 1100 types of illnesses, 700 medicinal plants, detailed anatomy of the human body. He performed plastic surgery, rhinoplasty, removal of sinusitis, removal of cataract etc. Truly the father of Surgery.
Muslims think that history starts in the 7th century. They rarely look into pre-Islamic history or give credit to others. The contributions made in the Islamic world built up on what was known, like the works of Babylonians (who solved quadratic and cubic equations), Egyptians (the ancient Rhind Papyrus contains problems where linear equations of the form x + a x = b and x + a x + b x = c are solved) Greeks (who created geometric algebra), Chinese and others already wrote works on algebra, solving algebraic equations and systems. The Arabs introduced something called symbolic algebra. Same with optics, there was work done on optics long before, so they didn't invent it, why are you ignoring this? It's sad that so many Muslims ignore basic history.

u are as limited in ur thinking and knowledge as muslims are. U mention a lot of names but LEAVES OUT India. Muslims learned a lot from India and from there they brought the knowledge to Spain. do your homework.
Where the hell is India mathematicians bruh they also created more than enough to recognised 😅 they are my ancestors you can't forget their contribution if they weren't be there Arabs won't even know how to count that's😅 the Modern No. system Is Also Derived From Indian No. System Including Values In decimals Or Points
So the great British industrialisation couldn't have started without the previous knowledge acquired by ancient civilisations - - get it ? - - yes and yet you British are so proud of your history whilst wishing to ignoring the contributions made by people of earlier centuries
Can we name one thing positive islam civilization bring ? I mean not the slaves or population they controlled , but a revolutionary invention that can be named?
It is like cancer... When they are small you can neglect it. When it is getting bigger in number, then it will start to kill the healthy cells. Later on it wants to take over your whole body (your country) by its ideology. You the natives start to regret it. You start to lose your freedom you used to have. Learn from Iran, Indonesia, Syria, Malaysia, and many more country. I bet you do not understand how evil this ideology. Watch Christian Prince or Sam Shamoun channel to learn more about it.
Remember when they taught us about the “Arabic number system”? It originated in India. Muslims only passed it along. “Don’t let school with your education.” Twain
If Islam invented so many wonderful things and is responsible for so much advances in science, why would they not get oil out of the ground by themselves? It took western geologists and engineers to do that. Was throwing gays off of building tops Muslims testing their theories of flight?
