The problem is that Muslims in western countries came here because they wanted our freedom of speech laws which they don't have in their origin countries. The confusion they have is that freedom of speech does not mean freedom to treat our laws as optional and secondary to their religious laws. I grew up in a christian faith which some would consider extreme Christian, however they state that whichever country you live in you must abide by the laws of the land first. It is about respect to the country you decide to live in. You don't go to someone else's home and start telling them they can't do something or have to do something a certain way because it's not how you run things in your home. That is disrespectful to them and their family. Same applies between different cultures. It's fine to have a discussion about the culture differences, that is what democracy is all about. But to openly walk in and demand people do things your way or die is the way of dictators and authoritarian governments. We can argue all day about this issue, but the facts are if you don't agree to live by the laws of your chosen country then get out and find somewhere that has similar values to you.

In some countries that would be true, in others, also mostly Muslim, it would not be true. There is a lot of variation in the regimes in the Muslim countries, ranging from religious dictatorship to democratic freedom. Of course no one likes to hear their religion vilified. The British are no longer Christian, so they don't care of someone says ugly thing about that religion. But not so long ago people were killed for that, and wars were fought over it. I can remember when Margret Thatcher, sitting on the toilet, was saved by the closed door from getting blown up by Irish Catholics. I can remember British troops using ruthless violence to suppress Catholics in Northern Ireland.

The Answer is not so simple my friend..Most of these countries were formar colonies of these western countries and oppressed and sucked by them for centuries. I m from Bangladesh which was a colony of UK along with India and palistan.Before British colonization.we were one of the richest countries of the world and when they left just after 190 years of colonial rule turning us among the poorest countries of the world.
