189 archive books, 40,000 photographed pages, 686,000 instruments inventoried, 126,000 instrument photos collected with the help of musicians from all over the world... When collector Douglas Pipher plunged into the private archives of the Manufacture Henri SELMER Paris, he probably had no idea of the adventure that awaited him!
After a colossal amount of painstaking work, he can now tell the personal story of virtually every Henri SELMER Paris instrument. A treasure trove for every musician, reminding us of the unique character of each instrument born in our workshops in Mantes-la-Ville, France. 🇫🇷

Après un travail colossal et minutieux, il peut désormais raconter l’histoire personnelle de quasiment chaque instrument Henri SELMER Paris. Un trésor pour chaque musicien qui rappelle le caractère unique de chaque instrument né au sein de nos ateliers de Mantes-la-Ville en France. 🇫🇷
