Doves é sensacional, underrated, conheci a primeira vez no inicio dos anos 2000, onde a MTV Brasil passava o clipe de "There goes the fear", e até hoje essa banda faz parte da minha playlist, assim comovárias do cenario britpop/ indie rock. Seu ultimo album, The universal want manteve a identidade e nivel da banda. Pouquíssimas pessoas aqui conhecem eles, é sinal que tenho um otimo gosto haha, 2024 e sigo ouvindo.
I know you probably mean it in the sense of widespread popularity. Probably bad timing. Oasis, Blur, etc. had the advantage of the 1990s Brit Pop scene that started in the days before the saturation online digital music. This group is highly regarded and I would argue that they did indeed hold deserved recognition in the indie sphere of music.

Watching this music video makes me smile the biggest smile, it's so touching and moving. I heard this song almost 10 years ago, I was in school at the time, I was obsessed with it then, and I am obsessed with it even now. Because of this song, I want to travel to Andalusia and see how passionately the people live there - their cultures and stories. Doves as a band is too underrated, I hold this song so close to my heart.

Oh my god! I've Been fan since the first time i heard The Doves around early 2000 and it's the first time i hear this song. DAMN! I GOT GOOSEBUMPS while i hear this. It Is how the rock música i like, clean, a little bit fast, emocional, and many more adjectives i could Say. I love the Doves.

The band are 'doing their own thing' currently - not split up but no idea when or if they will return mate.....saw their last gig they did, it was predictably epic.
