Down by the river 

Grrrrrrrreat ! 👍🏻 Just and simply, Grrrrrrrreat ! The only things that's missing is the delicate perfumes of the fire and the cooking, and the river of course !

In USA we call those type of potatoes " Hash Brown Potatoes". Sausages looked delicious nice view.

It looks like a really nice spot to spend the night and the meal looked good. Grated potatoes in English are called Rosti also. We use a cheese grater to make them.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. I love the countryside and have always loved creeks and small streams as well as rivers. That narrow part is quite an adventure and I love that low bridge shot. Great tarp shelter, overnighter and cook up. 👍❤

Another great video, I had to smile when you were doing your cooking, when I used to sea kayak we would do overnighter's or even a week long. On my first one I took a pile of Military MRE's. I was quite proud, then my mate took out his smoker and hickory chips. I am certainly after one of those wood burners, they look really useful. It has made me want to get back out on some rivers again, we don't have any on Shetland, plenty of Lochs to explore though.

A beautiful trip, Tom. Thanks for making the video. At the beginning of the video, you show a Grey Heron. Here in Louisiana, we have the Great Blue Heron which looks very similar to the Grey except for the size and neck. I have one that regularly visits my pond looking for frogs. -David

I love your small fires...we can be so wasteful of wood here in Canada, building huge campfires instead of something that will get the job done and provide heat. Thank you for your very informative videos! I just realise ou drink one of my favorite Beers - pilsner urquell quite bitter for my Canadian palette but I do love it!

Hi Tom, very nice video, very soothing. Some videos have way to loud music that I don't care for. That river in America, would be called a canal pretty much. Many mornings, I would make hash browns like you did and top it with 3 eggs sunny side up. I also mix some hot sauce in them as well. Thanks for taking us on another cool journey. Take care

On the west coast Canada fish&chips is a favorite I'm having chicken bologna sandwich with cheese and hot mustard tonight, the potatoes in the pantry are all sprouted up and ready to be planted in a garden, temperatures are rising and spring may come early as days get longer...✨🎡💦💨

And again it is good to see you my Friend @Tom at @CimbrerBushcraft , Thank you for sharing it us all . Many years ago I did this a lot . We would float all day ,Spend the night along the creek somewhere , And finish floating the next day if we were just doing an over night stay , Or sometimes we would be gone for days floating the creek . The creek ran fro way above us down way past us . Sometimes we would put in near Pyatt Arkansas and float near to Yellville Arkansas , That normally took 4 days if we did not stop and fish much , 5 days if we fished a lot each day . LOL , Your videos all ways bring back suck great memories . The only thing is now out of the 5 of us , I am the only one left , And to crippled up to do it anymore . When your back and knees go out on you life can really suck . Both knees need replaced and my back is fractured . But each trip I take with you brings back those great times . I thank you my Friend Tom , And appreciate you . Stay safe out there and enjoy life while you still can my Friend .
