I was indeed playing with pogs in '95.. but I had an awesome older brother who pretty much forced me to listen to Pantera, Down, and Megadeth on a daily basis. Good times. I remember the first time I ever got blazed, I was listening to "Hail The Leaf" on a mixed cassette I had made from my brothers' rock/metal CDs.

@bringbackthemetal I see where you are comming from, and admit i agree with you to point (they left off at a very good point in their metal career, leaving them GODS of metal); that said, it is dime we are talking about. Dime was NEVER about having people prove themselves to him. If they were having a blast playing, he would jump up, play along side them, share a beer, and have a hell of a time. That said, i think he would smile upon zakk playing along with his band.

That's what I don't get. There always HAS to be a shitstorm whenever people talk about the break up of Pantera or ANY group associated with that most metal of metals. It seems Pantera fans are in one of two camps; either with the Abbotts or with Anselmo. Which is stupid. It's Pantera. It's HEAVY FUCKING METAL. Vinnie owns all the rights and came to whatever record label it was released on with the idea. Not on Big Vin because that label isn't big enough. Same reason Down isn't released on Phil's Housecore label. It's just not popular enough to handle the band. Last comment as there is nothing more to say as you've resorted to cheap insults.
