Honestly, you have to give it to Joey for a great showing in the Playoffs after an awful regular season. Great first round with a win and second round where everyone thought it would depend on Dega he performed very well at Kansas and the Roval.

Sat right in front of turn 7 yesterday and it was pure entertainment. It sucked being a Chastain fan when mtj just decided to use the 1 as his brakes but i honestly really liked this configuration

The roval is beyond an amazing experience in person, it's like how Pocono still has a date even though it hardly puts on decent racing. Whereas the roval has produced legendary moments pretty much 2 of every 3 years it's had races

The race was ok nothing too special but Reddick was clutch. Sucks for Bowman fans as of now though since it was just announced he was disqualified so if they lose the appeal Logano got the gift of a lifetime (if you think the championship actually matters) but i guess for money reasons a W for him.

I attended the race in person. People were actually OK with the finish considering no dumbass officiating. The new hairpin made for a wonderful overtaking spot, my crew loves the Roval and I hope it will always stay on the calendar

SVG had the fastest car this race. He proved that by leading the first stage by a margin, and pitted to give the players max points. He ran second in stage 2 and pitted yet again before the end yellow. He got spun and recovered from 25th to 7th. Great effort from the Kiwi.

During the broadcast of Burton explaining the Bubbas shortcut, literally in that same clip it shows William Byron do literally the same maybe 6” more to the good but blue clearly showed. Just shows that if it’s a judgement call against HMS they won’t get called on it.

Alex Bowman Has Been DQ’d, Logano Advances By Default

Reddick did make that one mistake trying to gain spots, and he should send Hemric and the 31 guys some nice gifts for helping to keep the 45 from spinning out at a terrible time. Only a handful of weeks after driving while sick, Reddick guts out another tough points race under different circumstances. He's showing a lot of that championship determination, even if it doesn't go his way this year. He's proving why he was viewed at such a top prospect while still in Xfinity and while he was adapting to the Cup Series when he got started. Looks like there's not going to be an appeal for the 48. Hendrick is saying they didn't factor in enough of a margin for the weight differential between pre and post-race.

Today's race was great. Either here or move COTA. An F1 / NASCAR weekend would be wickedly awesome.

I love the ROVAL, I really don't get the hate. I attended the race last year and it's so cool to get to see an entire road course from one seat.

I quite liked the changes to the course - they made the product more exciting. Even if they go back to the oval with this car in the future, I hope at the very least that Xfinity continues to use this course.

To be fair to the Bowman fans, it’s possible to win this appeal if Hendrick decides to. Ryan Blaney got DQ”D at Las Vegas last fall and his team appealed and won. If they decide to appeal, I wouldn’t be shocked if they won it.

They could also use Sonoma raceway Flora road course this time of year

As a Blaney fan I don't mind his teammates not advancing. For years it's bothered me that Joey's pit crew was almost always faster. Then last year Penski moved the #22 over the wall guys to the 12 when Joey was out. So with the 22 and 2 out now I think fastest crew stays with the 12 for at least another year.
