I don't play bball anymore, but man, I remember when I first started playing in 2008, The Notic was my main motivation. I trained my game so hard, ESPECIALLY my handles, that I actually earned myself the starting point guard position for my high school, ha ha. I was so blown away by watching guys like Disaster, Johnny Blaze, but it didn't take long before you became my favorite street baller. As fun as organized ball was, the most fun I ever had, will always be practicing my handles in my driveway for 5-6 hours a day, trying to be like you and Disaster, ha ha. Thanks for bring back the memories.
Hearing your story about how high school coaches told you not to play that "jungle ball" is so triggering for me. I'm from a small town in southern maryland. I went to the same high school as Pat Da Roc. I'll never forget, I hit a kid with a shamgod during a scrimmage in practice. Coach blew the whistle after that, sat us all down and said "Check this out yall....none of you are going to be like Pat".....Till this day that quote is so triggering. You guys @ The Notic was so influential. The freedom of expression on that court maaaaannnn...ya'll were the pioneers of that. Ya'll legit showed us "Aye not everyone has to dribble like hotsauce" yall said it on tape "create your own style and do your own thing"...so to that i say salute to you and the notic king...respect.
Thanks for the kind words. I understand you... I still have that feeling inside of me but I use it in other ways. Training kids, working on my game and streetball.
Yoooo. I remember risking my computer getting AIDS! Downloading the Notic 2 using Kazaa! Took aaaages. It was over after that! Sky was was the limit! My little nephew is getting into streetball, watching the Professor. I'm going to give him a copy of the Notic 2 and change his whole life! Brum, UK.
