These are some of Stephen Curry's most insane threes of his career! Clips are used through a partnership with BBTV NBA Playmakers. Business Inquiries: mcosh3@gmail.com
IMO, Curry is almost single-handedly responsible for people thinking the three pointer is an unbalanced shot that's ruined the NBA. It's not; it's only unbalanced when he's the one shooting it, because he's a broken-ass glitch character in real life. Dude has targeting and range hacks, somebody oughta check his source code.
He’s also responsible for inspiring kids to become pure snipers at a young age. Due to this 3pt percentages are increasing at an insane rate in the high school and college level and of course the NBA. Curry has made what seemed impossible now possible for many aspiring shooters
Honestly, I got tirred watching it... it was that long. It was very long... a lot of shots from the parking lot and buzzer-beaters... A lot. This is rediculous.
coaches have his number now so a lot of these are more rare currently but he still gets amazing shots in. Look at his eyes when he's shooting from deep. There's a possession happening.
@@guesswhonot1620 you will be surprised to find that dame does not nearly have the collection of impressive threes that steph has. would be a worse, and far shorter, video
Step's shooting is insane, but what's out of this world is how he's ALWAYS aware of the shot clock. Some of those shots are split decision shots because he SAW the shotclock. What an absolute monster.
@@junethanoschurchill6750 right. To say this is what separates him to the elite category is beyond stupid. We make fun of jr smith for not knowing how much time was left. We don’t praise people for doing the bare minimum
I want to know what the team has been doing for the first 20 seconds when he's constantly getting handed it at half court with 3 seconds to go on the shot clock.
It's different in person, especially on GS court when he makes those buzzer beater threes. After shooting the halfcourt shot, there's a 2 second delay of silence and all people standing up, then comes the vibration from people screaming, it's like an earthquake with how hyped people are
People are usually so impressed by his shooting ability that they don’t even see or realize how good of a dribbler he really is. To be fair he’s just an all around good player through and through.
The dopest part is half the time he doesn’t even look to see if it goes in he just turns around like he’s walking away from a explosion in an action movie😂 That is a true master of his craft🤩
honestly what do you after that, theres like nothing you can after that point when curry makes the craziest three point shots. hands down the greatest shooter of all time. no limit to his range
I'm a guy who really doesn't watch NBA. When i watch Curry shoot, it's like I'm watching another level of talent. It's real, he does it on the spot in game time. He's damn good at this.
The fact that the very first three is THAT ridiculous is staggering! NBA used to be about the insane dunks and incredible athleticism, now its about these insane shots! Credit to Steph for changing the game FOREVER!
Both are equally good. I think it’s impressive either way. Too be super athletic and to be super good at shooting. Plus you need the muscle to shoot a ball
That last three was the day Curry changed the game. Super competitive, super engaging regular season game between Durant's Thunder and the dubs, that felt like a Finals Game 7. Everyone was watching it, the tension was as high as it can be in sports, and Curry nonchalantly walks down and rips one from 40 feet out to secure the win. From that point on every player, GM, and fan knew the power of the three, and every kid wanted to be like Steph
I do remember that being the time where everyone viewed curry as a legend of the game already . It was just so far from what anyone has seen before . The degree of difficulty on those 16 threes he took that game, and to make 12 was just different
It's true he was already great, but shots like this and the Clippers dribble and shot threw every rule book out the window. Got 4 seconds and a time-out in a tied game? Think I'll just pull up and let it rip from 40. Nobody's ever had the balls to do that intentionally, let alone the skill to back it up.
Although I‘ve watched and played basketball since I was very young, I have to admit watching this live was the moment that really changed the game for me!
He reminds me of an archer. The way he adjusts his stroke depending on distance, defense, forward motion, etc.... Even the look in his eye when he shoots. The way he walks back, knowing it's already a bucket. This man is a straight up sniper. A hunter. The ultimate example of hand-eye coordination. And let's not forget: this mam has a beastly lay-up and handles package to boot.
Thank you for mentioning his handle, insanely accurate passing ability, and magic shots at the rim. People forget- or never notice- these things! Can I throw in one more?! How about how many rebounds he gets at 6’3” ?! He’s usually one of the Warriors’ top 2 or 3 rebounders of the game!!
What's crazy about so many of his shots is, even after he makes a bunch of crazy moves to shed his defender, he somehow always gets squared back up in his shooting stance before letting the ball go. It's insane. He may have to alter the way he releases it, but he is squared up to the basket and in his rhythm in an instant. His balance is incredible.
I'm a lifelong Celtics fan but you just can't dislike him, unless he's playing your team seeing as how he could be in the freaking locker room and still hit that buzzer beater.
Yo great job with the editing, man! I appreciate how you cross faded the audio and let the previous clip’s sentence complete. Something many might not have noticed, but that extra effort really takes the immersion up a notch!!
@@ozonehephzibah6949 Not as much anymore, but I started my career in television as a tape editor for a local TV station and maintained it as a separate hobby for many years.
It was unpleasant watching him destroy the Celtics in the Finals, and yet I still can't be too mad. There's no one that's excited me more when heating up on a court with the exception of MJ, and that was 30 years ago when I was a child and he was a literal Saturday morning cartoon star. For all the athleticism and power of the game, he is the best at a pure skill (you can guess which skill) in the history of the game.
Good shit. I would add KB to the hot list though. I'm not from the Jordan era like that but I did grow up watching Kobe. When he hit like 12 3s against Seattle at a 66% clip I damn near lost my soul. It was almost magical to see. Same with the 81 pt. game. And then, as an old man, drops 60 to close his career. Legendary.
I suspect even his opponents are rooting for his parking lot two-mile shots and let them go by intentionally missing the blocks by a quarter-inch. Don't tell their coaches.
What's best about Curry is knowing that his greatness comes from relentless practice. He's like a 60 year old pool player: there's no combination he hasn't seen a hundred times. All the dribbling practice, the tens of thousands of shots taken...he makes the impossible look like something he's seen many times before.
The fact he has professional NBA players launching block attempts at him a few feet from the halfway line (he fakes them out anyway but still) just goes to show how good he is
The last shot is the greatest basketball moment I’ve ever witnessed. I wish I could bottle the feeling I had watching that game. Curry makes me feel like a kid again
Like I remember watching him slowly dribble up and you know he’s gonna pull up but then he does it two steps after halfcourt and you hear that “Bang” fucking iconic
I say it on a regular basis... the kid is unnatural. My nickname for him is The Game Changer. Dude is incredible. Absolutely next-level. 100% built different. One of the greatest to ever do it. A legend up there with the very best.
We are witnessing something that I honestly don’t think will ever be surpassed in the NBA. I would sit and watch an entire video of every single one of his three point shots. It would probably be an hour long if not more
as of right now he has 3117 three pointers made in the NBA, let's say you'll have like 5 seconds of a clip per 3-pointer made, that would be 15585 seconds in total which equals to about 4.3 hours. So you'd have to watch a 4 hour long video of every three pointer ever made by Steph Curry in the NBA.
@Tyler considering my wording, you pose a very valid point. But also on that note, considering basketball itself is only 130 years old I would say projecting it to last 1000 or 1 million or a billion years might be a reach. but I do applaud your optimism in the human race
What I love is that as often as not he doesn't even watch the ball to the basket. So many of his shots drop directly into the rim that he knows the moment it leaves his hand if it is going in.
There’s a fluidity and ease of his shooting form that makes even the most heavily contested three look like it’s being shot by a guy just messing around on the basket over the garage.
That Mike Breen double bang was the moment Steph cemented himself as the greatest shooter in history. What an absolute freak of nature man, guy is too good.
Haven’t watched bball regularly since the pistons were good in mid 2000s…but one day in early 2015 or 2016 can’t remember the warriors were on and I really wanted to watch Steph and so I sat down and got to experience #1 on this list live. It was amazing.
This is insane… I knew he was an amazing shooter because anyone who watches any basketball knows that…. But this compilation really gave me so much more respect for him. He’s otherworldly!
The shot at 7:18 is a great visual of Steph not getting the calls he should. 2 defenders barrel into him after the shot and no call is made(game went into OT at 108-108). I cant imagine the points he'd have if he got just half the calls they miss.
@@gozz2118 true but thats mainly because they are usually destroying the opponent team or they’re getting destroyed by the opponent team. most of the time its them destroying the opponent team. cuz the warriors are just too good.
Love to watch Curry! Grew up with his dad, Dell ! He comes from good stock! His grandparents are such good people, he gets his personality from them! ❤️🙏❤️🙏
Steph Curry is the greatest shooter of all time, no one can convince me otherwise. Edit: I wasn’t implying anything snarky or that someone would try to convince Me, so sorry if it came off that way
as technology advanced. who says its not rigged, if you remember they had that skit of "magnets in the ball" I dont doubt it anymore.. .golden state Has needed the revenue
The NBA 2-Minute Report later said that Curry was fouled and should have been awarded a FT on that shot. No doubt, when you watch Anthony Davis piledriver Steph into the stands.
I lost interest in watching basketball many years ago as I wasn't seeing anything new happen in the game and it had become boring for me. I've been hearing about what a great outside shooter Steph Curry was and so I decided to watch this highlight video and I am truly amazed. This guy must be the best outside shooter in history.
JUST started to get into BB with my 2nd game being against the kings for a total L. Seeing these makes me hope the next season will prime up curry for another ring!! Hoping podziemski, moony, and santos will get a lil more spotlight
This dude is so awesome to watch, taking shots we tried as kids for hours only make it once. Curry does it once a game. He's a monster with that ball in his hands.
I just knew that shot against OLC has to be in the list I will never forget that shot it was a like dagger 🗡 right through OKCs heart. I can watch Curry drain them 3s all day & everyday so mesmerizing to watch. 🔥🤧
Stephen Curry is the closest thing to a real life video game character, it's like he's playing on Rookie difficulty with all his sliders turned all the way up!
If he's so good why did he NEED to steal KD from the enemy team to get Easy Hand Me a Ring happiness. Proof KD won all the Championship MVPs That's Steph's legacy: lazy
@@bobcatdrums Laziest player in history: 4× NBA champion (2015, 2017, 2018, 2022) NBA Finals MVP (2022) 2× NBA Most Valuable Player (2015, 2016) 8× NBA All-Star (2014-2019, 2021, 2022) NBA All-Star Game MVP (2022) 4× All-NBA First Team (2015, 2016, 2019, 2021) 3× All-NBA Second Team (2014, 2017, 2022) All-NBA Third Team (2018) NBA Western Conference Finals MVP (2022) 2× NBA Three-Point Contest champion (2015, 2021) 2× NBA scoring champion (2016, 2021) NBA steals leader (2016) 50-40-90 club (2016) NBA All-Rookie First Team (2010) NBA 75th Anniversary Team 😂😂😂
The scary part about Curry is that he might just be getting started. The fact that he plays from the outside makes his style of play almost virtually injury free. He could play at this level well into his late 40's..or early 50's , and just keep getting better and better!! He's definitely gotten better at creating the open shot. He wasn't breaking ankles when he first joined the league on a regular basis. His handles are insane right now.
I feel like people underestimate how sudden an aging players athleticism declines. Steph could probably get to 41 or 42 like past shooters like Ray Allen and Vince Carter in his final few years but it’s kind of crazy to think an NBA player can get past I’d say 44 as a hard limit
he absolutely cannot pull this off to his 40s... he does a TON of running ALL THE TIME to get the open looks. he is constantly running - he may be less prone to injury, but he won't be able to keep this up into 40s.
@@gold_leader9288 44? Hell nah man players can't make it past 42 44 ain't even close only in good cases players like Vince Carter and Ray Allen or Kobe make it to their 40s or else there's also cases of players getting career ending injuries like Larry Bird and Greg Oden so he's lucky that he did not have a career ending injury
@@aaryasharma4940 I mentioned hard limit. I think it is possible that a guy makes it to 44 but it would require perfection healthwise and even that is pushing it
I love that the OKC shot was saved for last. I will never forget watching it live and the adrenaline running through my and obviously curry, he was soo on fire that season and the sound in the anouncers voice screaming “Bang! Bang!!!” Soo nice he had to say it twice hahaha Kobe pay on the butt says it all, dudes insane;)
6:33 Someone forgot to tell him that’s their three point line not the grizzlies😂 let’s behonest though 3/4 court shots for him is like a deep 3 pointer for everyone else.
The true weapon of Curry’s arsenal isn’t his shot, it’s his handles. He has insane handling abilities and because of them he’s able to get so many opportunities to shoot
