This ride is a cross between the carnival Downdraft or Hurricane models and Zamperla's WindstarZ, while also evoking the likes of Disney's Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Magic Carpets of Aladdin. Let me know in the comments what you think this ride most resembles.

Really fantastic idea, awesome! The curved hills work extremely well

Thanks! I suppose I could have banked the turns as well for another variation

I've ridden a real WindstarZ (The AeroZoom at the Tropic Falls park at OWA in Alabama) and it's quite fun! You can make your glider go up and down as you please by moving the bar forward and back (Push forward to go up, pull back towards you to go back down 😉)

A fun little trick I like to do with rides like that where you can control the up and down motion is move the controls or press the button in a quick, rhythmic way to start a bouncing motion 😊 I love bouncing, so I just can't resist doing the bounce trick on those flying vehicle rides where you can go up and down by yourself 🙂

That sounds awesome. I’ve never been on one. But I did try one of those ones where you can tilt the plane’s wings so that it rocks and could potentially spin you around upside down

What ride was that? I don't think I'd want to go upside down though... 😞

It’s Skyhawk at Canada’s Wonderland. It’s a Sky Roller ride. But it’s really hard to actually get it to go upside down. So mostly you control rocking back and forth

I like rocking motions 😊 If I could try a ride like that out, I'll stick to rocking instead of going upside down

Again, I've built it, I like it, but I have to ask, where did you find the supports at the top of the blue and white tower? Please tell me each corner was not made of 9 individual pieces ... that would be horrible to put together.

Yeah the supports are the wooden post from the Wild West scenery. I used several for each side so yes, it is a lot of pieces. Scenery manager plugin makes it easy to copy and paste each side and rotate. The diagonal pieces are custom scenery

@@openRCT2tutorials Some day I've got to *really* learn how to use that. I guess I will need to go to all the work once, then save it, so I can just plop it down the next time! Did you see the park file I sent you? Will be even more of your rides in the next one. I'm only a month into the build, and have already built 2 of the kiddie rides, and there will be at least two more, possibly 3 or 4. And that's just variation on the Kiddie Ride.

Yeah the scenery manager is great but I don’t use it often. It’s nice to save stuff you use frequently and also just moving things around.
