I see that I am not the only one wondering if there is any chance to share the template for other popular DAWs such as Cubase, Logic Pro X, Pro Tools etc.? That would be a fantastic support and a marketing step if available! Cheers!

Would be more helpful if the template was in a DAW that people actually used. Not some obscure and very expensive DAW that nobody has ever heard of.

Seeing that this is available might actually be the thing that makes me switch to musio lol. I saw some great prices on the kontakt versions until the end of the year, but remembered that I had an OLD copy of DP from waaaay back in the PRE-intel mac days so I'm eligible for the upgrade price, so I might start fresh with a new DAW and musio :)

Any word or info on what pre-delay needs to be in place for Musio Samples? Having some sort of a guide to reference would be super helpful!

I would also love to get this directly from Musio! Until then, here is what I've been using with a few tweaks on random samples: Strings: -110ms longs; -50ms shorts Brass: -60ms longs except bones -100ms; -40ms shorts

Hey there! Musio's virtual instruments replicate the gradual attack many instruments produce in real life (strings in particular). Add that to workflow variables-buffer size, CPU strength, RAM available, hard drive type/speed, even the tempo of your music, etc.-and there are a LOT of things that can further delay output. Your best course is definitely to contact our badass support team (link below). They know these nuances inside and out not just as technicians, but as composers themselves. PLEASE consider this OR send me pictures of the directories you created in DP. I already created a musio template in logic. All i need is an idea of what directories you put into your template in each instance of Musio. It would be VERY helpful.

I'm just some casual exploring the virtual instrument composition space. Been reading (and listening) to a lot of stuff from various companies creating these orchestral libraries. More out of interest than anything but the more I see about companies like Musio the more I am tempted to dip my toe in and see what the fuss is all about. I was reading that the cloud based Musio app has limitations in comparison to the Kontact app (btw does it work in Kontakt player or only full Kontak?). Limitations like lack of mic control, key switches and stuff like harp glissando's for instance. I am guessing these additions are in the works for the cloud based app? Also if for instance someone's internet went down would the already downloaded samples still run? I like the sound of a Netflix of virtual instruments but some of these limitations make me pause for thought. Especially if you are a professional working on time constraints and your internet goes down.

Hey there! We're so glad you're curious about exploring orchestral instruments and considering Musio. To answer your questions, yes, Mic mixes, harp glissando, etc. are all in the works. Keyswitching is already live in Musio. As for an internet connection, you can absolutely use the instruments you've already downloaded without an internet connection. The app is designed so that you never lose functionality even if your internet drops out.

Fix Musio GUI first. Then learn how to record screen - I got dizzy by looking at you riding left and right. I purchased MUSIO but have to say there is lots of things to fix to the interface. Especially readability, scaling and customizatrion (which almost does not exists).

@@musio.official SCALING and CONTRAST --- these the two keywords to concentrate on. You sahould also create a VID on using your template on most popular DAWs (S1, Ableton, Cbase, Reaper, etc.) I still cannot figure out how to place multiple instruments in single instance of MUSIO plugin and use it on multiple tracks (like I used to do this with KONTAKT) where is the template for Stufdio One ???
