"3DEP Index Query failed: Error: Network Error"..... "Error: timeout of 10000ms exceeded"..... "Loading failed" Seems like USGS needs to give their site a little TLC. But the workflow is pretty sweet! I would def load/analyze this stuff in QT Modeler vs QGIS though (or ArcGIS for that matter). I know QTM is not open source but the performance+feature set is so radically better than almost any other client, that if you need to work with Lidar regularly it will pay for itself in time saved. That said I am not bashing on QGIS, it's incredible what the QGIS devs have done -- it is just not ready for professional/enterprise, high volume/short-suspense type work.
