so when i originally started my course i was using LAZ Files and when I got to the CloudCompare Step I Noticed that the inner was mainly white but the outer was fully produced. So I went back to the national map and noticed i had LAZ only selected and noticed there were Geotiff files so i downloaded all 90 of them. I used those in the next step skipping the cloudcompare section. I made it to the satellite image overlay segment on UNITY and I managed to get the inner to line up with the outer but had to drop the image down over -60 pts. to get them to line up. but i noticed that the terrain was completely off for the course. There are hills that have dips in them that are not there in real life. I guess what I am asking is the mapping not lined up correctly or is it because I originally used LAZ filles on the beginning setup. I don't mind restarting i just want to make sure before I proceed any Further.
Just want to add that I tried using the coordinates from the excel document and it got it close. i was able to get the inner and outer to line up with the blue terrain. so that is where I am at in the tutorial.
The laz file most likely have a different CRS from the geotiff so you probably need to start over. I would also recommend posting your questions in the discord channel. Youll get a much faster response as most of the designers are active there.
