Thanks for the info on the Positive Ion. I have a GoFish underwater camera I plan on using this year to see if I can see the difference. Good to hear it's been working for you. I'm also going to go check out your live scope videos on your channel.

I generally run my back ones deeper. I use the same size ball (6lb) on all of them. I have found that trolling around 1.5 mph and down to about 60 ft that size works well. If you haven’t seen it check out my “no downrigger no problem” video and I show how I run 6 poles at a time with 2 of them on clip weights. It’s a Badlands jacket. They make great gear.

One it’s hooked on the downrigger cable I put a rubber band around the shuttle hawk to keep it from accidentally coming off the cable.

@@KokaneeAddictFishing thank you, I will be watching the video, is there a way to estimate a certain weight for instance, the lake We have salmon in North Dakota is Lake Sakakawea, where the salmon are varies from like 60 Feet all the way to 160 feet+ is it possible to get down 90+ feet with snap weights and not to overload the rod with lets say 8 ounces of weight? While trolling 1.5 Mph+?? Long question but if anyone has any input please respond Id like to know.

@@BashSchroeder The deeper you're trying to go, the more variability you're going to get in "actual" depth based off estimation charts. A difference in 0.1mph will make feet of difference in depth. You'll also have a lot of line out to get that deep because of blowback. Your best bet (if you're able) is to have someone with another boat go along and watch their graph to see how deep you're running with various weights, speeds, and line out.
