What is the best country to live in?
@SoniaJbrt
@SoniaJbrt Год назад
Yes, you forgot that it is illegal to homeschool your children. I personally feel that the government of Germany make it a very unpleasant place to live since it seems they stick their noses where it doesn't belong! 😠
@SoniaJbrt
@SoniaJbrt Год назад
@@goroakechi8577 that's easy. South Africa. That is if you have enough millions to buy your own lodge with mansion and have electric fencing and security guards with amo and guard dogs on duty 24/7, and be totally off grid. Solar power and your own borehole and french drain system. Then you can really enjoy South Africa. Cause you can say what the hell you want to anyone, you can speak your mind. We don't know the meaning of op political correctness. And you can freely homeschool your children without any issues. If you value your opinion and freedom to do as you please, and you have a few million dollars for off grid living with the best security money can buy, then South Africa is the place for you. Also, if you're not a vegetarian and love good food, and don't make friends so easily, you will have tons of REAL friends very soon who will gladly take a bullet for you! And I'm not exaggerating at all! And of course the best bbq in the world!

I've lived in Germany and think that the number one downside is that it's very crowded, traffic jams and so on. There are people everywhere. But, I don't think that they are that political correct as you say, at least not in Bavaria. It was also quite easy to make friends and if you go by public transport or visit a "Wirtshaus" , beergarden or pub, people often start a conversation. But, it's of course harder for those who don't speak german.

In the Netherlands stores are also closed on Sunday in the Netherlands but every city has some dates we refer to as ''Koop zondag'' translates to somthing like ''buy sunday'' on this day most stores are open but not all. Supermarkets are always open on Sunday but close earlier and supermarket staff working on Sunday get pays double.

A very important downside, at least in Berlin: smoking is still allowed in almost every bar and club

Very personal downsides, for me it is an upside to have no powerplants in the neighbourhood. Besides, Austria has no powerplantes as well, there you forgot to mention that as a downside.

Set against such glorious vistas, Germany surely ranks as a country to visit. But living there is certainly a challenge.

@@mizulightblue I think Austria should have less African/Middle East migrants so less crime, no?
@mizulightblue
@mizulightblue Год назад
@@apacheattackhelicopter8185 No. Austria has a lot of African / Middle East migrants. Going to Vienna, you won't hear any german. Austria has a huge immigration problem, also illegal immigration. Especially in the cities it is a huge problem; drugs and planned out crimed, murder, robbing and also terrorism. Every year the Christkindlmarkt in Vienna is a spot for terrorism. There are also many gangs now in Austria. When I lived in Austria my mom would never let me go alone to Vienna and no matter where you are, especially as a girl, don't go out at night in Austria, it is dangerous. Austria was a wonderful place 20 years ago, but this has changed with the huge massive waves of immigration from Africa and middle East, as well as eastern european countries

@@mizulightblue Wow that's so sad, same story repeating all over Western Europe
@mizulightblue
@mizulightblue Год назад
@@apacheattackhelicopter8185 Exactly. In France and Italy it's the same. I have heard United Kingdom has the same problem, as well as Netherlands, Belgium and huge problems in Sweden. I don't know about Spain and Portugal though.

Living in Germany is not easy. If you want to move here, you should first inform yourself properly. Reasons that speak against it I list times. Of course, there are also positive reasons but I rather list points that make you think. 1. The unfair tax policy. The system is designed for the really rich and big industrialists. To comparison Switzerland or Holland are tax many times better. If you consider that Germany belongs to the 3rd - 4th largest industrialized countries but the median net salary is about 1800-1950 euros. You don't have to be the best in math to see that there is an extreme imbalance. 2. the high additional costs which exceed in large cities over 50-70 per cent of the net salary. 3. a general conservative mood in the population and in the media. 4. generally conservative parties that govern Germany and corruption in Germany is hardly punishable in Germany. Whereas in other countries such actors end up in prison. See various studies on corruption in Germany. Nevertheless, form your own picture and try to understand the points.

This is a pretty accurate description of the downsides in Germany. I would suggest that the crime rate will rise more than what the narrator expects due to the massive influx of foreigners from non-European countries, which will significantly reduce the quality of life in Germany in the coming decades.
