HI Joe, thank you for expanding your reasons for this little set up and for showing how you have achieved what you wanted. Appreciate your time in putting these up. Thanks from Australia downunder.
Just put together my remote ball valve bypass kit and used it today on a job...man is so nice not having to walk back to the truck to turn the bypass valve.. I added a twist to my set up, I have 2 electric ball valves, one is used to turn on/off soap, the other is used to join 2 machines (10gpm) together when I'm ready to rinse..both are controlled off one 4 button long range remote..built the whole thing over the winter...man this thing is sweet!!!
This is a really good video of the injector bypass thank you for sharing it’s one of the best videos on RU-vid I’ve seen hundreds of videos and no one gets close like you do in your videos keep em coming have a good day thank you!
Absolutely amazing content. Your my go to for pressure washing videos. You explain every step of why or why not you do this. I'm going to set my business up with a 5.5 starting up. Thanks
Great video! Very helpful and explained well. I can appreciate the adjustment you made to the bypass you no longer have to wait for the line to clear after soaping. Thank you.
I’m going to run this setup until I get more jobs going and need to be quicker/increase productivity. Then I’m going to the flow pro. Thanks for the tutorial joe!
THQ for sharing. Curious of you have place where you purchase injectors in bulk, without the quick connect? I really like the mounting block idea with a 3-6' whip. 👍
A personalized one pull baby! Love it! Thanks!!! You know why your videos are so good? Because it's all good info. Not some pitch to buy some course or for you to manage facebook ads behind a little bit of content. Why dont you teach Ruby to turn the bypass?
Yeah there is a big difference between a 4 gallon and 5.5 gallon pump when you get full flow from it. Those 13 horse Hondas will always start with one pull as long as the spark plug is gapped right, just remember that when you do maintenance on your engine. Thanks for the video Joe!
My 5 GPM has a lot of kick back. Why does yours not have kick back? I have a pressure gauge showing just under 3000 psi. How can I get rid of the kick back?
Hey Joe, Awesome video with great info. Just incase you were not aware, kleenrite has completely stainless injectors for like $30. I have a few months on one already with zero issues.
I've made some of these for some of our customers, they really love using them, good thing about working at a pressure washing store is getting stuff at cost 😁😁
I'm sold, I think that's the way to go. I'm going to do the same thing except I'm going to go with the remote set up, save time. I built my remote for my soft wash setup, it's not to hard to do. Thanks for the great info. You always have great videos.
@@shadmoney6617 Just go on line or Google videos about remote control systems. You need a two channel remote, 12 volt 3 way valve and a water proof box for the electronics. Get a all plastic valve, they are more corrosion resistant. I think I paid about $30.00 for the remote. Good luck.
Hey Dale. I have been doing a little bit more research to get a better understanding of the system. Do you think the remote ball valve is capable of functioning and acting as the bypass in this same setup?
I've got the bypass from pressure tek. Works great mounted directly to my pump but the injector doesn't work when I connect the bypass to my cox reel. I don't know why that is but, it works great when mounted to my direct drive pump with 4gpm.
Did you figure out the Chem draw with the 2.1 injector? All the websites say 2.3 is for 5-8 GPM, but 5.5 is right on the cusp. Have you tried both since filming this video? Thanks!
Thatz so cool mate! Can you tell me please what hypo procentage you use for roofs/walls(render) wondering how you guys use hypo, and there is no discolouration. As here in Europe (ireland/uk) we afraid to use hypo for everything... Patio discolouration ,upvc damage and etc....
I’m working on my trailer. Can you send me a link to by that by pass and the injector to a 8 gpm machine? I have my first job next Saturday. Its a big 3 floors house. My soft wash system can’t spray at the top. I will have to use a by pass like you have. Maybe will work. Please help me with that. Thank you very much
Hey Joe, how well is the by pass working with the chem injector mounted to the by pass hose instead of the ball valve. Looking to do the same set up. Thanks for the awesome videos.
Hey Joe Danny Roberts up here in PEI Canada 🇨🇦. Thanks for another great video. Just wondering if you ever thought about moving the bypass to the gun and zip tie the chen line to the pressure hose. Lot of fleet washing guy do it this way and i was thinking on trying it out myself. Also just wondering if you ever have to deal with heavy moss on vinyl and if so do you still use the m5 twist?
Soap is pretty much soap when house washing. I used to use dawn but decided to try Elemonator definitely like it a little more, Masks the sh smell alot more.
💪. Love it. Gonna buy me one now too. Can’t wait to see what that 2.1 strength is gonna give you. Do you have one of those super suds sucker down stream injector? Was thinking of getting one.
I have a 4200 psi 4gpm pressure washer and i ordered one on amazon it says “2.0” instead of “2.1” so im not sure if i would have to lower my psi for it to work properly? Or if i wont even be able to use it. Great video btw i think u explained downstream better than most of the videos ive seen to try to understand it
Love your vids man. Great stuff. I'm curious. With the 2.1 size injector are you just drawing from a straight bleach tank with soap and that gives you 1% or are you mixing bleach, water, and soap and then running it through the bypass?
Whats the advantage of the injector over just using the venturi effect of low pressure high pressure tips and shutting off the flow of chem without having to walk back to your truck each time?
Look at you and those fancy intros.... lol. I bought my bypass from Pressuretek. Then bought a couple stainless nipples off Amazon and did the conversion. I want to move my unloader off the pump and down to my skid. Need to get the mounting block.
Thanks for making good informative videos 👍... I had a question if you don't mind what size Honda motor is your 5.5 gpm pressure washer? Is it the Honda GX390?
Wait til you put a remote control servo on the DN 10 ball valve and stop walking back to the truck. They sell them for 300 to 500 bucks, worth every penny.
So the downstream bypass is used for house washing only? Can you use the downstream bypass method for roof washing or do you recommend the 12 volt pump method? Also, in your opinion, what would be the best source to find chemical mixing techniques ? Thanks from a new guy
@@powerfulimprovements I see. I have spent a number of hours going over your videos since I sent this message. Really enjoy learning. Your help is much appreciated...
I bought mine and tested it yesterday. I want to bypass the downstream injector when it is time to surface clean so I can get stronger pressure. I did a draw test with my downstream injector and bypass. With the bypass off and on I filled up my bucket to the 4 gallon mark for both tests. By looking at other videos I saw a difference of the flow rate with the bypass on and off. I was shooting water to measure the distance and the distance is the same for both bypass on and off. I’m using a 4gpm PW. Am I doing something wrong?
Do you get that much more flow that it is worth walking back to the truck to turn off rather than just changing tips? i guess thats what you are debating now ?
Hi Joe, when using the Bypass can you use more than 150 ft of hose? I know with just a downstream injector you are limited to 100 or 150 ft hose, so I wasn’t sure if the SH can still be forced with the bypass valve? Thanks
@@powerfulimprovements Hey Joe it's me again lol. I can't seem to find it on their website. Would you happen to know what they call it? I hate to bother you and btw I love your content! I think I have watched all your videos and I know you touched on it in one of them but I can't seem to find it. Thanks again Joe
I'm building the same bypass, my question is whats I do with the stock bypass they came on my dewalt 4gpm machine? Is there a way to get rid of it or can I cap it with something?
Joe, I really like the skid you have on your truck. You said earlier that it was a local shop that did it for you and I happen to live in that relative area. Could you tell me the name of the place the did it for you? Thanks
8:12 with this method of not going through your hose reel, do you have to wind off the length you need before connecting? Also disconnecting before reeling it back in? it just seems like the end of the hose would be flopping around doing it this way, is there a solution to that you've found?
Flo Pro Solutions! Remote bypass.....no more walking back and forth to your truck!! I set up my bypass/injector the same way you did for the same reason, more water through the DN10!!!
how long can you let a direct drive pump run without being on the trigger. I have one right now and im worried with by the time I walk back to the truck and turn the valve then walk back that would be bad for my pump
