@@MadTheLine well, the number of servants has been consistently decreasing throughout the show and I feel like cleaning was shown less and less too. But it works if one watched only the first episode
props to whoever does the set and editing and costuming and technical details of this, it is just a spot-on recreation and they probably had like, two days to do it

Yes, I was disappointed that the clip didn't show her playing that part more. She was all dressed up with no place to go. Definitely bring Kate back as Maggie Smith in Downton Abby.
I'd like to sincerely thank the SNL, as I've decided to watch Downton Abbey upon seeing this parody and was not disappointed. It is now my favorite show and I would never discover it without this sketch.
Only people that watch the show religiously and thoroughly enjoyed the movie could pull of this skit accurately and I find that's what makes this so funny.

This parody is so good and so funny that I've been watching it multiple times a day since it came out. I just wish Kate as the Dowager Countess had more lines. I could listen to her all day do that accent!
I realize it's "cool" these days to be negative and to trash talk; however, I must say that I thought this was hilarious and produced so well. Not only were the actors 'on point', but the technical/production team demonstrated such skill in combining an almost flawless merging of the actors with the actual backgrounds from the movie itself. I enjoy the great majority of SNL's skits.
I love this trailer. Just what the world needs right now more movies about cleaning. Also the suspense about what was at the bottom of the pool, is a classic.
Mildly amusing sketch. However, the movie was awesome and I ain’t nobody’s friggin’ mom... I wish Kate McKinnon could have had more lines as The Dowager. Whatever Kate touches turns into comedic gold... just sayin’
Fun story: My mom dragged me and my dad to see this movie, and she ended up snoring next to me at the cinema. My dad was the only one who actually enjoyed it :))
I very RARELY go to the movies, but I might go see "Downton Abbey" because I LOVED the television series. Btw, I am black, so this is about RELATIONSHIPS and FAMILY, and anybody can relate to that regardless of RACE, people.👍👍👏👏😀😀
Absolutely go see it if you loved the show!!! I went with my mom, both of us being huge fans..we got all weepy just seeing everyone back on the big screen and hearing the music. Enjoy!

Aidy Bryant has never seen an episode of Downton Abbey 😂 She didn’t even try to act anything like Mrs Hughes. Still love her tho. And the writers obviously mixed her up with Mrs. Patmore 😂😂
That's the life! I binged the show at least 6 times and haven't seen the movie because I don't want to go with anyone who hasn't watched the show. I may try to see it tonight
