Now get a monorail like Jacksonville connected surrounding neighborhoods to downtown, the museums, Kia center, and UCF downtown campus and maybe Orlando will be doing something right for once when it comes to mass transit.
why can't the city work with developers to ensure developers only get a fixed profit margin. Lets say 3% guaranteed on the sellout of the building. That's the only way to build and sell fair priced condos
If they know they can make more than 3% given the demand, why would they settle for less even if it's guaranteed? Most developers don't work for charities, they want the highest profits at the lowest costs possible, period. There's a lot of ideas that sound nice, but just don't work in a capitalist society.
