It is a tourist town. Come for a winter frolic. The town closes down at 6:00pm and it is dark at 4:00pm. Enjoy the night life but bring your woollies it is cold, windy and wet. You may run into Rip Van Winkle with hia scraggly, wispy gray beard wearing an old greasy cap with a pony tail hanging out or the dude in his pajamas. Imports from the golden state. Love the RV life? Check out the back streets for the beat up old RV's and buses. We just love them here and you will too! Patience is the word of the day when you get behind an old beater Volvo driven by our proud senior citizens. Welcome to Port Townsend but make it brief.
