I just now used this method EXCEPT I used a 1gal. garden sprayer and added Febreze extra strength and the same scent fabric softener to this solution y'all!! Sprayed all over my living room carpet and sofa!! My apartment smells phenomenally FRESH!! I hope this is long lasting. I'm spraying my bed linens next!!
Out of desperation, I sprinkled a little of the laundry scent crystals in my heating vents. The scent lasted a long time. When the scent finally stops working, I just open the vent, vacume them out and sprinkle in some fresh.
I am a professional housecleaner and I won’t recommend it. It will leave residue on the floors, fabric, objects. When you when you spray it in the air, micro drops go down and settle everywhere. Also it is wasting $ on spraying chemicals around your house. Use essential oils. Natural or nothing. We have enough chemicals around us. Don’t add more in your own house.
I'm no longer a professional cleaner, not of households other than my own. But I was thinking the same things about it getting everywhere. Furthermore, what happens when that warm water cools off? I'm assuming that the liquid will thicken up.
I use a small old pot where i pure fabuloso and small amount of water and put on the stove and the whole entire house even the second floor smells great. These products i use always.
I also use gain laundry detergent i add a few teaspoons mixed with a little alcohol and vinegar and diluted with warm water in a spray bottle then i spray all over my place as im cleaning and vaccumming
The Arm and Hammer carpet fresh and pet fresh powder works great to freshen laundry too. I add a half a laundry cup full and my laundry comes out great and the smell lasts a long time. I have pulled out clothes from my drawers that I haven't used for months and they still smell freshly laundered.
Jonathan ... the scent is still there, but the companies put a 'scent deadener' in it so that you will continue buying the product more often. Try slicing lemons or oranges instead! Add them to simmering water for a few min.too!
@@bonniemoerdyk9809 There’s no such thing as a “scent deadener”, there’s just a certain amount of time that products have a specific strength of scent depending on fragrance used… and our own noses actually become familiar with the same fragrances so our brain will notice them less and we’l have to use more in order to smell it (that’s why some people smell very heavily of cologne but they don’t notice it themselves at all).
Add water to your wax warmer tray and then add either liquid fabric softener, the scent beads or I buy fragrance oils from Wal-Mart (by the incense) and add that. Smells amazing! It will evaporate so don't leave it unattended (I do it while im cleaning, or when guests are coming over then turn it off). After its off but while its still hot add a little more water then put a few cotton balls in to soak up and wipe. Then it's ready for the next time.
I have used the liquid Downey with water in a spray bottle for years. I had a cleaning service. I would put about a 1/2 cup Downey and then fill up my spray bottle with water it makes your carpet smell great and feel so comfy on your feet. This is old news
I wouldn't use the wax beads. Use liquid instead and also use about a tablespoon of baking soda. If you use the beads, they leave a waxy residue. I however use the beads in my wax warmers .❤️
I like to make sachet's out of coffee filters with a tablespoon of downy unstoppable's and twisty tie them shut and toss them between my folded sheets, inside my drawers to keep the laundry smelling fresh, in my pantry that holds my towels as well.
Or u can buy the sachets sacks in the baby section at the Dollar store. I put them in my car, inside the vents in my house, inside drawers, and around my house!
I saw an in store video about 15 yrs ago about shoppers going into grocery and making purchases.... First: the people in Europe were dressed in Dressier clothing. Skirts, dresses, "hose" and dress shoes. Americans were in jeans, tee shirts, gum clothes and tennies...... Second: very FEW shoppers in Europe would "smell" the products they were buying. Americans were smelling, soap, laundry and dish detergent, fabric softeners, toilet papers, kleenexes, meats, some vegetables and breads... They pulled the camera back so u could see 4-5 aisles at a time.....FIRST OF ALL, Tesco only HAD 5 aisles and 3 checkout lines🤯.....and in the American store which was HUGE, virtually EVERYONE there had their nose nearly TOUCHING some product or other....never MIND, wear a mask......keep your wet nose off of items u MAY decide to buy😬 Anyway, when they showed u the overview of the Costco.....there were so many Americans sniffing everything in sight, that my family all burst out laughing simultaneously....it was an hysterical moment for us...AND.....it caused Us, each one to rethink our"sniffing"practices😂
I am going to dissolve the unstoppable in warm water. Once dissolved in the warm water, I am adding the Fabulous to the unstoppable solution. I will mop my floors with this.
To add a pleasant fragrance to your kitchen/dining/living room area: remove the grate at the floor level front of your fridge. It snaps off and on..... Pull out the "drain tray" and wash it w soap and water(This tray receives Ice crystals from the freezer of ur frost free fridge) after its clean re-insert it about 1/2 way back in place. Pour in 1 cup warm water in The tray WITH 1/2 cup of pine-sol/ fabuloso/ lysol/favorite liquid fabric softerner/gain deterg/liquid tide........ Whatever your favorite clean scent is. Everytime ur fridge cycles thru defrost, that fresh smell will waft out into your kitchen.TA-DA!
You could get an extra job to pay for the unstoppables. Working two jobs is not a bad trade off for having a nice smelling house. Or you could move into a very small house and it would not take as much unstoppables. Just some ideas. Hopefully this will help.
How would you make an air freshener with the old fashion kind. I want to feel mine with vinegar underneath the sink where I begin to get more can you help?
Hey! I personally use a mixture of liquid fabric softener and water to freshen up my couch, makes my whole living room smell great. I also use it on the carpet before vacuuming, to untangle barbie doll's hair and I'm sure the list goes on! Im sure you could also use the liquid softener as an alternative to the beads in this method too! Good luck!
NOT safe at all!! In fact, most products out there with fragrance is very very toxic! If you care about yourself and your family, please don't use all these scented products on the market....it's the main reason why cancer has skyrocketed in the last 40 years or so.
You shouldn't in general for pets and humans. A car at times, I get it but your house where you would breathe in the chemicals and lay in the chemicals find a natural solution like an essential oil diy spray mixture. Get the already nicely blended oils so you don't have go create some crazy aroma blend yourself 💯
Seems like a great way to put scented wax droplets all over your house, not the best idea if you ask me... my leather couch, nor my wood floors would appreciate it and I don't fancy scrubbing that shit off my walls after a few years of using this "hack". Using the appropriate product for their appropriate task is not that difficult and because you're using it appropriately, it won't wreck your shit! If you're cleaning your house as it needs it, you won't need fancy bulshit ideas to scent it like it's been cleaned. I'm just underwhelmed by this RU-vid "hack". Y'all have fun ruining your shit but at least it'll smell Fabuloso!
You know what would be "Fabuloso??" -- if you took your shitty negativity and shoved it. 😃 if you don't like the video....MOVE ON. WATCHING IT IS OPTIONAL. Following the hack is also optional. 😊 some people like it...some people are against it. If you don't like it, Don't do it. Simple. Usually I don't respond to trolls, but I had time to spare today. Take your troll ass somewhere else. Mmmkay?! ✌✌
what a waste. just diludes the cleaning solution and you could use the frangrane elsewhere...or spend 1 dollar on a cheap air freshener that actually absorbs orders instead of watered down downy pods. man your life is boring, why do this
